I liked the concept. But Harry seems pretty hypocritical here. He claims he loves Ciri, to the point that he's never entered a relationship with anyone since he met her. Yet, he lets her suffer through hell, just so he can ensure that she's the same person he fell in love with? if he really loved her as he claims then he wouldn't let her suffer like that. Just seems very forced and nonsensical

Well seeing how most dragons in the Witcher can change their form I doubt it would be ridiculous. Also I do t really agree with the time you chose to base the story. Don’t really hate it but it feels like a more book focus then anything else, there also really isn’t much of a point in the time your dropped him. A guy who can turn into a dragon would cause significant changes to the world and its kind of weird that Harry is going to be about 70 years older then her.

Only brain dead or extremely dumb people would read this and say it's "good".

How is it he stays so weak after a century of study? Use your brain…

Not one enhancement ritual? Not one automatic shield charm? Not even a tiny bit of awareness of the battlefield? No planning whatsoever for getting around his kryptonite? No plans for getting out of imprisonment, getting locked in a hole in the ground for a million years, or other bad ends?

Yeah, this Harry is too dumb to live, Ciri deserves better. It is only a matter of time till he does something dumb that causes him to leave her forever. He will probably trip his way into a black hole or something like an idiot.

I get this Unseen is canon, I also get canon really doesn't have a counter balance to them or worse, too bad this didn't fix it.
Besides there extreme speed and normal vampire abilities dialed to 11 or 15 there is no canon indication they cannot die. Considering they had wars, with demons and others, it is safe to say they can die.
Now we have a powerful mage, with fiendfyre and other, possibly worse, abilities, can turn into a dragon but an unseen elder is too much for him.
Also, Harry trained Marri, physical skills, stealth and such... and he got hit with a stick from behind.
