Oh man, this has been an absolute joy to read! I found this story when chapter 27 came out, and I’ve been hooked ever since! Honestly, this has been something I come to after a week of stress and work. It’s been something I’ve looked forward to reading, and something that’s helped push me forwards. I’m sad to see it end, but I’m so, so satisfied with its ending! This story has been all I’ve ever wanted in an Alex Rider story, and has quickly become my favourite Alex Rider fanfic, if not one of my favourite fanfics all together. I’ll definitely come back to re-read this story in the future.

Thank you for putting your time and effort into this story. I’m always enamoured by how much knowledge and dedication this fic radiates. It made me excited to be a reader. In a way, your characters have somehow become a part of me. I love them all and I’m so happy with their endings (or maybe it’s really their beginnings. I think I like that better).

I'm sitting here kinda sad right now because I've followed this story for a long time, and I'm not entirely sure what to do about the hole that its completion going to leave behind. I came across this amazingly brilliant story when you were around 30 chapters or so in, and I was instantly addicted. I watched as Alex went through hell and you peeled away every layer of the onion with relish. The top highlight of my week was having a new chapter to read and I am going to miss that little twist of excitement so much.
You drew me in and pulled me along for the adventure and I can vividly see all the safe houses, Raab's chateau and Clyde's hidden lab in my head. I loved it when Nico and the boys got involved and their turbulent first few days together were so much fun to read. Especially when they realized Alex has no self-preservation instincts.
I just had so much fun reading everything you wrote and in a time when there is so much stress in the world, you gave me a place to send my mind - to escape from it all and that is worth more than gold.
So thank you - thank you for every word and every chapter! Thank you for taking me on the adventure of a lifetime. I will await - with breathless anticipation - your next Alex Rider adventure.

This chapter was hard to read, but very profound.

I can’t even begin to imagine the guilt Nico is feeling, but I can definitely see how finding out his unit mates are still alive would effect him. Sure, there’s relief and maybe even happiness, but deep down there’s also betrayal. Because, even if the reason for leaving Nico out of the loop was sound, it still hurts. I suppose it’s sort of relatable to Alex, in a way. I believe he thought everyone in the unit to be dead at some point, too.

All in all, I enjoyed this chapter. You were right in saying that Nico’s POV was needed. Can’t wait until they’re all under the same roof again! Thanks for sharing. Hope all is well.
