I really don't understand your point about James. We know nothing about both him and Lily, literally nothing to get a real character, imo. Maybe there are some canon things from pottermore or other sources that i missed. Plus "it's likely that dumbledore fed lily some bs (...)" yeah, likely, so maybe, maybe not. Maybe James wanted to leave the country but Lily said no ? Maybe, maybe not. There's too few information to have such a strong opinion against either of them, imo. Again, maybe i'm missing some facts but honestly, to me, they were both idiots : why not make either of them the secret keeper ? Why not, as you said, run out of the country (but the blame for that cannot be put only on James, for me, it's on both) ? So many things do not make sense, but I don't think we know enough of them to blame either.

Also, with the informations we have, I wouldn't say Hermione is like Lily, because Lily, having married into a pureblood family, must have somehow impressed James' parents enough for them to allow the marriage, thus, she had to understand pureblood customs and the magical world. Hermione, imo, doesn't, as can be seen with the house elves. Also, I really don't like Hermione so, all the bashing stories i've read might be biaising my opinion lmao

I actually liked this chapter a lot. I think it's the first time i read something about potions-induced visions concerning their futur family lives (at least for Hadrian), and, idk, it was a refreshing and good-vibe chapter. And even tho I still don't like it, i'm getting used to 1st person arrative, and it's not as bad as I thought first

Well i'm conflicted on this story.. Premises were good but damn it the writting is messy. First, i don't really think 1st pov narrative adds anything of value, quite the contrary. Also, everything is too fast, and sometimes we just don't know who is where doing what. Plot is not original, writting is messy.. I'm just staying because i'm an easy-pleased person and seeing an OP harry is enough for me but, yeah, like i said, pretty messy. Sorry for being rash I am not usually that much but I was really hyped by your story at first so.. Anyway, thanks for writting and I hope the rest is better

Why would the ministry reserve four dragons for the Tri-Wizard tournament a year ahead of time? They have no idea there will be a fourth champion so unless they are plotting to enter Daniel in the tournament it seems illogical.

Haven't you ever heard not to feed the trolls? They thrive on attention and these multiparagraph long rants are giving them the acknowledgement they so desperately crave. You would be better served to ignore them and move on.

Who cares if they like crossovers? Different strokes and all that, making a point about their preferences is irrelevant. Personally, I could care less how you wish to portray the Potters they had very little screen time in canon and were known more by how others describe them than anything else. If you go by canon logic it is doubtful that Harry was conceived via love potion and he is the antithesis of Voldemort who was in fact conceived after his mother gave Tom Riddle Sr a love potion. Opposites attract and weirder things have happened than a brainy hot girl falling in love with the star jock.

The first-person narration is a bit off-putting. Most H.P stories are third person so I will admit that I prefer that style but I am adjusting.

To be honest I am not a fan of polyamorous relationships I find the concept too ludicrous to really take much interest in the romance portion of this story and am mostly reading this because I occasionally enjoy stories where Harry is not the bwl.

So far the story feels a bit rushed and could have easily been much longer though I suppose that is for the best as I usually try to read stories set from the fourth year onwards.

The characters are likable for the most part though the way all of Harry's friends treat him as if the sun shines from Harry's every orifice isn't realistic, especially in the earlier years of the story. Harry may be a natural leader and the heir to forty houses blah blah blah but his character does not feel like the age he is portrayed thus far in the story. This seems to be s common trait in dark or O.P stories where Harry basically leads his friends around by the nose and has the answer to every problem he's presented with.

Harry is kind of a wanker, the way he addresses people comes off as acting more like an uncultured ass than the future Lord Black, if I'm being honest.
