Makoto luck is somewhat discreet. Like in season 3 where Hina Makoto run off of brainwashed future foundation soldiers and Hina get shots in the leg when Makoto doesn't get hit lol.

Nice to see you updated it again. Byakuya is really going nonstops on Ikusaba since she needed to make a choice here or they will have to keep watching to find out the true culprit being Junko.

At this point I feel like Makoto, Kyoko and Byakuya are being stupid, or deliberately ignoring Junko in the equation.

It's true that they don't have the advantage of hindsight, but this is as simple as 2 2.

The second someone said Hina likes girls when in reality she NEVER showed interest in girls while she did show interest in boys... they lost all arguments. Don't believe me? Check her free time event, meanwhile her and Sakura are platonic.

This is a good fanfiction and I do like the change each characters in present time are having seeing their future selves. I wonder if this will end with their memories getting erased for the game to happen or if it will end with them somehow preventing that future. Guess we will have to wait.

This big contradiction that "Spirit" will point to Junko, is that if she really wanted despair from the start, she wouldn't have panicked the moment her plans got derailed. She would have welcomed the despair of losing from the first moment, she wouldn't have clung to the HOPE that she could win, as much as she did.
It was only when she irremediably lost that she embraced the despair of losing. When it was the ONLY possible chance for her. That doesn't wound like someone who "chose despair at the very start" would do, right?

If either Their Host "Spirit" OR even Makoto tells her this, Junko will break. And for real this time. The fact that she can feel HOPE, that Despair can become Predictable amd Boring so that even subconsciously she would avoid it... thus would break her.

By choosing to share Despair with the world, she choose to have hope for herself and her plans. And she ended up giving the world the True Ultimate Hope that it needed.

Next time will be break time
