This is amazing, and rather reminds me of another writer who writes in a similar style and wrote “of the river and the sea”. Needless to say, you both are awesome writers.

I think snape just avad'd baby Harry. Can't thing of anything else that caused for such a thing to occur in regards to the scar and the anguish felt during the memory as the pain seems to be triggered by the words instead.

I love Harry's speech as he storms out of Snape's classroom

I'm not a fan of Snape... at all. I don't understand how JKR can try to justify Snape's past. He was an angry teen who knowingly and willingly joined an evil group which reveled in torture and murder. Snape was not a meek follower, he was inventing new and horrific curses (see Sectumsempra) and immersing himself in the Dark Arts.
It was not one insult by Snape but years of behavior which sundered his relationship with Lily.

I shudder to think of the conversation between Snape and LV which resulted in a smirking LV promising to spare Lily's life.

Snape's tyranny and bullying as Potion's Professor at Hogwarts shaped the moral and ethical code of his students for 18 years. His sadistic and biased teaching significantly shaped magical society (ex. All aurors had to have performed well under his unfair tutelage) and set the stage for the second blood war.

Harry arrived at Hogwarts an undernourished and socially awkward young boy. I agree with S'TarKan's "Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past" fanfic in which Snape's immoral use of legilimency both allows him intrusive awareness of Harry's abusive childhood and possibly allows for mental compulsion/manipulation.

When the object of his obsession was killed Snape swore an oath for revenge (which happened to provide him shelter from Dumbledore for past misdeeds). I want to know- What was the wording of Snape's oath? How does his oath permit his behavior toward Harry? Snape was both able to kill Dumbledore and violently retaliate when Harry pursued him. Snape's final act was to inform Harry that Harry had to die in order to stop LV, assuring Harry's martyrdom.

I don't trust any of Snape's memories. If Slughorn can alter/manipulate his memories then why are all of the memories supplied by Snape (an acknowledged master of the Mind Arts) regarded as completely true and unaltered?

Sorry to gripe. I have a close friend who is struggling with an abusive manipulative boyfriend and I just see so many parallels- ownership, jealousy, misdirection of guilt, entitlement, etc.

I hope you know that I love this sort and I binge read all of it in two days, and sort of stayed up all night to red it. I’m really tired but I don’t regret if. Thanks for writing this! I absolutely adore the whole bit with Houses and Heirs. Also, I Iove Cassie and Connie. The whole part where Pettigrew was taken in and those three proceded to raise hell? I was cackling madly. And then when the law enforcers were trying to break into the Potter house and Amelia Bones’ headache . . . It was great!

Tallahassee - Zombieland reference? There's been rumors about a sequel to it, and I dunno whether or not to be worried or excited. On one hand, I felt Zombieland ended on a good note and didn't seem to leave room for a sequel... On the other had, more Zombieland and Tallahassee!

I loved this story! There's so much more background/world-building/external POVs, it's magnificient! The story flows extremely well, even with multiple POVs per chapter.

I can actually see Heather and Percy being an item or even really good friends/allies. They both see themselves as interlopers within their own family. Both are driven (to a certain extent), are willing to stand up for the little guy and tend to be the type of people who will carry the weight of the world on their shoulders without complaint.

But they also even each other out. Heather's naturally timid where Percy's firm in his actions. She has a sunny disposition (when she's been able to relax) while he's generally seen as serious.

I eagerly await the next installment, no matter how long it takes!
