I wanted Severus to be the one to kill Voldemort, but Lily killing him is okay as well. I knew you wouldn’t kill off Severus, but I never expected it to be this way. So after Severus was given a second chance, he was sent to an alternate timeline while the other timeline still continued. That makes sense.
It’s been a great fic. Now only the epilogue remains.

The ending reminds me of another fic with a similar event where someone shouted, omg, she is kissing a corpse.

I know it's a serious fic and an important moment, but I couldn't help laughing at that.

I don't have much to say here. This story is simply great in all departments. Well-executed storyline, believable and consistent worldbuilding, fluffy romance. The writing itself is of great quality, which is a rare joy in fanfiction. Congratulations on finishing it!

Less than a month...I Guess I have to Wait

I find it annoying that one's hurts must be forgotten simply for the fact that one changes his believes/sides and suddenly is acceptable to the bully. Why in hell James got off the hook so easily. Supposedly, when your friend bully another of your friends you just force the bullied to forgive? I don't care if it is the characters speaking/acting. Such scenes change the tone of the story to once again justifying random hatred towards Slytherins.

This chapter (and entire fanfic) was beautifully written and perfectly plotted. You’ve made these characters come to life and let us see their growth and journey over the years. Every decision and loss felt like it had weight. I’ve never been as invested in a fanfic as I have in this one. I’ve read it all the way through about 4 times since I stumbled across it a year and a half ago! Each time I found new details and insights to enjoy. Not gonna lie, I was real worried Sev wasn’t gonna make it. I had to take a day to prepare myself before reading this chapter, haha. Luckily, you had pity on us, and let us have our happy ending. (I mean if you can’t have a happy ending in a fanfic, where else are you gonna get one?!) I’m sad that we only get one more chapter in this truly exceptional story, but I think it’s ending at the right time. A good writer knows when they’ve reached the end. Thanks for taking us along on this journey, and as far as I’m concerned, The Peace Not Promised is totally canon!

I can't describe how much I love this story. And many of my predictions more or less came true in this chapter alone:
Lily or James kills Voldemort with the sword. I initially assumed in a muggle fashion because it be poetic, I suppose; a "champion" of pureblood supremacy killed by a muggle-born with muggle weapon in a muggle way (i.e. with her hands instead of a wand or magic). Perhaps her use of non-verbal/wandless cast was forshadowed in the early chapters; when Flitwick insists she improves her talent.
Lily and Bellatrix duel. In this case, it's more of a cat-and-mouse chase than a duel.
Severus re-enters limbo and learns what happened in the canon/prime timelime. But Harry's appearance was definitely a shock.
The rings allow him to return to the living. A wishful thinking at first since others and I expected (and emotionally prepare) he won't be able to return.
"It won't be goodbye...I will see you again one day"

Been following this fic since early May 2018, when the chapter count was around 35 or so I think.

Loved the fic! Great work, and I'm happy to finally see it complete, besides the epilogue. It's consistently the fic I mention when people ask me what my favorite fanfic is.

Do you intend to write more (besides the epilogue, such as a new fic) or is this it? I suspected that you intended to leave fic writing after the epilogue given the slowed updates from biweekly to roughly monthly. Either way, I'm glad to have found and read your work, and wish for your success in any future endeavours.
