Can't wait for the next update, and I hope Protego Diabolica would make an appearance, with how much Snape has accomplished, he's at the top in alchemy, with his pursuit of Elixir of Life he will reach the pinnacle of potioneering, making him able to cast this spell would place him at the top of DADA, his last but not least field of expertise.

Such an interesting read, rich characters, sharp plot twists, a fanfic close to the level of novels it's based on. However, I disagree with the death of Albus, I think there's an omission in your plot, for there could be a way for Dumbledore to stay alive and fend off Voldemort and his Death Eaters, a spell to be exact, which also would have been a token to Grindelwald - Protego Diabolica. Exceedingly potent defensive and offensive capabilities simultaneously, there's no way Dumbledore hadn't known about this spell and how to cast it. It's also a spell capable of destroying Horcruxes, since it's similar to Fiendfyre.

But when James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter bring the topic up, she will wonder what happened.

I like the idea of a final confrontation where the Light actually knows what's going on and hasn't been kept in the dark. And if Tom is going to do them the favour of keeping his mortal body and his Horcrux together, so that they can kill two birds with one curse, they should take full advantage :). There may be longer term ramifications for Severus, though, once the war is won, if his origins become more widely known. The Department of Mysteries will be very interested indeed, should they find out.

-How will Crouch becomes Minister now Dumbledore isn't alive to endorse him for the position?
-Hopefully some of subsequent chapters focuses on Dumbledore's will and/or contingency plans.

Things are getting super real now. To tell the truth I never expected him to reveal the truth to so many people at all. I guess now that Albus is dead it's time to put on the big boy pants and face the music.

I'm writing another review for I want to make it clear that I think your writing's beautiful, I've enjoyed the starting chapters very much. You've got a gift for writing. I don't have anything against Severus or Lily. They both have their flaws and strengths. I just wish that they had a healthy relationship not an abusive one.
