I'm starting to feel the same "jealousy" of Kori as Ty Lee in these past chapters. Don't get me wrong, the story is still very interesting, but the thing that hooked me into this story was the interactions with Azula's group. I want Xisheng (I.e. the story) to pay more attention to them and less attention to this random girl from the comics.

I really hope you sell just how big a deal it is Xisheng was able to break down the outer wall of the city and get a foothold beyond it

Also I’d have it be compared as way more impressive than when Iroh did it as the recent Iroh comic has revealed the Fire Nation had like a whole battalion of spies causing havoc behind the wall while it was being sieged Iroh had that and it still took him over 600 days to bust down the wall

Xisheng had no forces already behind the wall and he broke the wall down in record time

Really looking forward to Xisheng next meeting with Iroh since you’ve kinda set Iroh up as a rival that Xisheng is going to overcome as they have opposite views on the Fire Nations war and just the fact they’ve had two run ins already and right from the start Xisheng was opposing Iroh even when they first meet

I really hope Iroh knows Xisheng is the solider he first meet on the command deck of Zhao flagship in the north the one he fought in the spirit oasis and is the Imperial Firebender that fought him when Azula tried to catch him and Zuko

I love your story, this is one of the stories that I liked the most. I wish you the best and that you finish this story and just so you know, I support the harem in Azula's gang and the MC. You have my support in that. :)

I really think you have a tendency to undersell how Fire Bending compares to the other elements it’s like your making it out that Fire is the objectively weakest element and the fire nation is only winning the war because they are a few tech levels ahead of the water tribes and earth kingdom and the only reason they are winning the war is earth kingdom incompetence.

Apart from that think every other aspect of this story is fantastic.

Can we move past the romance since you obviously just want to drag it out with nonsense? All this will they won't they stuff is so annoying. Let's progress and just stop bringing it up. Jesus fucking christ.

You know.. I just read this on whim after looking for a good crossover fanfic with azula pairing. Slowly but surely this story kinda grows on me, Xisheng slowly grows on me. It's so comical to imagine a royal guard standing akwardly and confused beside the table in a room with a noble girl and the one and only princess azula inviting him for supper.

A lot to comment on but I'll stick with one thing. There would be a political dimension to Azulas future marriage. Would Ozai allow her to choose her own husband? Azulon had frced him to marry Ursa after all. As future Firelord, Azula would have even more constraints. Promising his daughters hand to a politcal ally rather than letting her choose Gohan is worryin possibility that. I hope you will address in future chapters.

In regards to the chapter, I'm gonna keep it short(er) than usual as I don't have much time.

I love Azula's confidence in her declaration and follow up. She knows what she wants and is lasering in to get it. No excuses, no beating around the bush, no hesitation. Such a thing is a shock to Ty Lee and Mai.

I feel for Ty Lee. Trying so hard to look out for others, while also not wanting to lose Xisheng. Poor girl. She doesn't want her friends to feel heart-broken, but at the same time all is fair in love and war. Romance is very much a winner take all (unless harem, fingers crossed). Azula's on the offensive and Mai has retreated. With all this in the air, I'm happy she's not wallowing in regret on her hesitation with Xisheng and actually went to him for intimacy. Spicy stuff!

And POOR MAI. Goddamn. I can feel her heart-break in this chapter. The one guy she started to fall in love with is now being pounced on by an insurmountable rival. You can really feel her logical side kicking in, trying to explain with why the Xisheng romance will never happen. It's so sad how she's trying to cope with it.
