Really good story so far I can not wait to see what shockwave' s semblance will be. It will also be interesting to see what inventions shockwave will create.

Okay, first things first.

I. LOVE. THIS. STORY. I'm gonna be honest, I haven't seen much of RWBY, only the first something episodes of the first season/volume. The first time I tried watching it, I stopped immediately because I didn't like the animation style, but after hearing so many good things about it, I decided to give it another shot. I stopped again after a while for some unknown reason.

Anyway, on with the review!

Plot: I like where your idea is currently going and it's unique from other stories in the sense that you're taking a more realistic and uncommon route for the plot so far. I can't say much about this category because the story is still in it's beginning. Plus, for those who are like me and have not seen much of RWBY, it's easy to follow and understand what is going on. Unlike some other crossovers, I didn't have to stop and do some research before continuing with the story. The only thing I will go on google for is what the canon characters look exactly like but that's different.

Characters: While I can't speak for the RWBY characters, I will say that Shockwave is PERFECT. He has not been OOC so far and if he does do something that at first may not seem "logical", we quickly figure out that it was a reasonable action for his character. It's also very entertaining to see his responses or actions when around more emotional and social characters. Another thing that you also managed to do well with his character is that he's always thinking of how his decisions will impact him and his goals in the future, be it the future is a few seconds to a few months away.

Relationships: Very realistic. The fact that Shockwave has only enemies, acquaintances, or business relationships is terrific. While it seems possible, Shockwave having a friend seems little ways away. If he were to gain allies which he would dub "friends" then that would be huge character development for him. But if you do go this route, I have no doubt that you will accomplish this nicely. Also, I'm glad that you're not going romantic with this story, as I don't think that it would fit the theme you have set up so far. At least, this is my opinion and of course, I don't speak for everyone when I say this.

Originality: As I said before, this story is very unique. While RWBY and Transformers/Beast Wars crossovers aren't that uncommon, it's the character you chose, the part of the timeline they are in, and the reactions they have to their new situation. In this case, you chose Shockwave and placed him far before the beginning of the show. The fact that he's an anti-social Decepticon brings up many interactions that we wouldn't see if the character you chose was, for example, Optimus Prime who is an Autobot and one of the kindest characters we know from the Transformers Series.

Grammar: The grammar is superb! I didn't find any spelling or punctuation errors, and if there were, they weren't very noticeable.

Overall, this story is so far OUTSTANDING and I'm loving it every chapter. I like how there's a nice balance of action and adventure, with a little bit of humor sprinkled about. The jokes and references have been very enjoyable and anytime a character says/thinks that Shockwave acts just like a robot, I end up letting out a small laugh. (Oh, if only they knew!)

I will say that reading this story has encouraged me to try to watch RWBY again. Although I don't think I'll go that far because I enjoy learning about the world of RWBY through your story, it's very fascinating.

What if Shockwave science and technology have a biggest impact in Remnant that would benefit both faunus and humanity. The four kingdoms would surely wanted the technology for their advantage but Shockwave would only share his technology if the four kingdoms would sign the declaration of rights for the Faunus since it's logical if being a Faunus would hinder his research because of discrimination highly use it's as a bargain chip.
The white Fang would never like it as calling Shockwave traitor that he should use his technology for his own brethren benefits while the other Faunus would called him a hero, a faunus only using his skills to gain the faunus rights without violence.
I was thinking what if Salem has another person another transformers called Soundwave whom she save from the phantom zone as he was in human form and became her spymaster.

Shockwave should have more missions like this in the future, I would like to see team rwby take one on. And ya no romance please, shockwave in love, thats just not right. BUT students forming crushes only for shockwave to imeditly turn them down would be hilarious

Just binge read the least three chapters, this storyis getting better and better. Hope to see Shockwave have the kinds of conversations, he had with the teachers, with the main cast.

Team CVFY is in the HOUSE! i do wonderwhat sort of weapon upgrades they will get. i can see Shockwave being intrigued by velvets hardlight weapon copies. i can also imagine little weapon nut ruby fangirling over his arm cannon XD

Best part I like dabout this chapte ris the interaction between Shockwave and everybody else. Youmay not agree with someone but if you can hold a decent conversation with them, you can try and see what their point of view of life is like.

Glynda and Shockwave may not like each other's methods or beliefs but they can sit down and have a talk without coming to blows. This was my favorite part of the update. Shockwave's logical view of the world makes him predictable according to what I read about him. I hope this is something he can adjust so as not to be so easily defeated in the future.

My disappointment is his combat potential. From what Ive seen of the Prime cartoon, he's more of a mighty glacier than anything else. However, if he was able to satisfy Ozpin's criteria, then he'll be fine.

Now, we have sciency shenanigans starting with his ground/space bridge. That will be revolutionary as hell if he can get it working. I wonder how far Ironwood will go to 'reacquire' him once Winter tells him about our Transformer in human form.

Coco couldn't resist the paycheck, and they'll probably see something unique in their lives.
