excellent fic, shockwave to me could go very good (siding with ozpin) or very bad (siding wth cinder) but i see shockwave as more neutral than anything else, but salem seems more like global destruction than anything so i feel shockwave MIGHT join oz to perseve peace, anyway what kind of faunus is he? he should have an animal trait that denotes intelligence so maybe an owl? can his head do a 360 dg turn?

Chapter wasn't bad. As you said, it's necessary to set up the plot, but that doesn't make it bad. You're also doung well writing Shockwave's character. I look forward to more.

So Shockwave is some sort of Faunus in which said Faunus body parts are made of metal? That surprisingly suits Shockwave quite well in the world of Remnant. It shows that he wasn't completely nerfed here since he at least retains his super hearing amongst other qualities.

Makes me wonder what kind of Faunus he is since he can pretty much pass on as a human with extra cybernetic parts on his head. It's not like he has a tail or anything...Right?

Eh, you say this is boring, I say it's always interesting to be in the mind of someone like Shockwave, but that's probably just me. I'm very glad of all the logical routes you're taking with this character and I can't wait to read more. I wonder what kind of faunus Shockwave is, unless I missed it which in that case my bad. I wonder how long it will take for the White Fang to approach Shockwave, considering that he's practically a cyborg faunus with a high intellect. He probably will see that as a bad idea, considering that he plans to lay low and blowing up a Schnee mine or stealing dust is the opposite of laying low. Can't wait till the next update.

This is way better than the one where it was Ironhide that got dropped in Remnant, mostly coz we get to see the thoughts of an extremely logical being stranded in a place where combat is decided by the Rule of Cool
