I mean, they could have done all they did and got new ID's and new wands and live on the island they way your story ended. I know just my thoughts. | DarkPhoenix101 chapter 1 . 8/29/2023 I was disappointed was well that Harry and Hermione did not end up together. Rowling missed the chance of creating what could have been the most memorable romantic pairing in fantasy literature. But in the end the romantic pairings are not the most important aspect of the books and I'm certainly not prepared to throw everything else away in a fit of pique. If you're THAT disappointed then find another fantasy world that you prefer. Stop looking for in universe scapegoats and cooking up ludicrously far fetched conspiracy theories to explain why canon didn't go the way you wanted. It's stupid and childish. |

I quite liked how Harry took out his betrayers with muggle means. It's unfortunately not something I see enough of in the fandom. At any rate, the story was well written and very enjoyable. I just wish there was more of it. |
