Really enjoyed this, it was nice to see characters that were a bit more real and relatable, less perfect and polished (and unrealistic!) than how people normally write them

God, I have been thinking for a while that Paul killed Seth and Kate. I hope that’s not true but it seems less likely the more I read.

Edward should maybe buy non alcoholic beer, that might make him feel less left out. He should order that when he goes out with the guys. He doesn’t seem so bad that others can’t drink around him, is he?

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about piercings before. I would think she could make it the nipple piercings either by setting then through the shirt or feeling then when they hug, touch. Seems like this was thrown in for shock value.

This chapter reaffirms my thought that Edward has a different mother, since Edward"guesses" he looks like his dad.

The flashback was weird. I get that Edward was supposed to be very young, hence the stilted speech pattern. Yet he used words like "tackle." I don't know how to explain.

Mom never seemed to care for Edward. Maybe he's from an affair that Carlisle had?

I think she's worried that Edward will "relapse" and go further into drugs, OD, die...And she's trying to harden her heart and not "bond" so she's not devastated that both her sons are gone.
