You know, after chapter and chapter of kabuto here. I'm starting to warm up to him. And no I honestly wouldn't mind a from enemy to lover relationship between him and Kasumi. But that would end the Nara ship and that would be kinda sad for ya boi Shika.

Yea everything turned into a huge cluster fuck cause of wave. Honestly, if OC wasn't in the care of the Naras then she would have been able to follow canon. Parents ruin everything in anime, thats why they kill them off for the MC. If Naruto had his parents, he wouldn't have Kurama and be OP asf, same with Sasuke. I wonder how old OC was when in their first life cause she acts too much like a kid than a former adult.

I'm laughing at her nickname, Kaka, why call her that lmao kaka sounds like caca for poop in Spanish. Why not call her Sumi or Mi-chan i stead?

Soooooo... Is this on hiatus? Dead? Almost a new chapter finished but haven't found a beta? Cause I really love this story, and I'd like to see more! It's realistic (or as much as Naruto-verse can get) and doesn't have so much angst that it turns me off. The relationships with her to others are also nice. And I like how this chapter ended with Kakashi. (honestly get the man some therapy, please!) I'm kind of wondering though, is Sasuke going to be satisfied with just having Gai as a sensei? Where's he going to learn nin- and genjutsu? Also is Kisame really dead?! Is he going to get a replacement? What's gonna happen with Danzo/ Root? Is Orochimaru licking his wounds in Oto or is he up to something with Kabuto? Is he going to try again with the cursed seal? Are we going to see more scenes with Tsunade as a sensei? Is she going to get her own summons (that'd be awesome! I vote for something fast like cats or idk. maybe something strong like bears?) Will Kasumi get actual tracking missions? Or any missions at all that won't go to shit like S-ranks showing up out of nowhere? Is she going to find her clan/family/ people she got her kekkei genkai from? Is she going to learn more from them? AAHhhaahhhh I have so many questions! I wanna read more!

I'm definitely looking forward to ever hopefully getting a new chapter!

I'm glad Karin gets to go with Naruto. They can have some family bonding time. Also looking forward to seeing Kasumi wear down Kakashi.

1) This is actually about as far into canon as I've actually seen. I mean, bits and pieces past the chunin exam and Sasuke retrieval arcs, but *shrug* Past this point I don't have enough information about the story to have an opinion on it.

I am pretty impressed by how big your changes are so far though. I feel like that would have been harder to write than sticking closer to canon. Also, it was a good read.

2) I'm looking forward to seeing Tsunade, and also the Atkatsuke members. Most of what I know about them is more from fanon than canon, but I'm kind of attached to Deidara. (And also Kisame, but he's sort of dead already. Probably. Based on rumor and Naruto's storytelling.) I also like seeing Sakura's growth in fics, but you've not included her much. Wouldn't mind seeing more of her and her team if it fits into your fic. :)

So, anyway, I've still got like, seven chapters left. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Hey, idk if you are checking your comments anymore, but I really enjoyed this! It was very well written and I loved the mental dilemma of fighting for Kakashi or not. And the struggle to not feel abandoned, just to have Shika tell her it's okay to feel that way. That it's not wrong for her to feel abandoned.
It may just be my bias towards Shikamaru, but I love their relationship and the tiny specklings of feelings on Shika's side!
And the changes in canon are great! I don't feel like they're out of the realm of possibility. Great job and thank you for the great read! If you choose to update I will gladly look forward to it!
