Kasumi really needs one of these teachers to regularly beat the living shit out of her. She has someof the best damn senses in the entire village and yet she lets herself get startled and snuck up on constantly. She needs to have awareness beaten into her, or something.

I really hope Kasumi gets good st some point. It's annoying with her basically at the level of her peers when she keeps going up against what may as well be gods.
I mean, I understand making her godlike as well is bad. Just the sad part about sticking to canon events as a guideline forces you to rely on plot armor to keep people alive.

And this is why you don't tell people your max sensing range. Means they know exactly how far to be to stay out of your range.
Hopefully this will make her work to increase the range and keep it quiet.

She snapped Zabuza's neck, not slit his throat like she told Shikaku. Minor detail but meh.

I'd be strongly tempted to fail the test on purpose. Assuming he's remotely like canon Kakashi is just about the worst possible sensei.

Amuses me when people get Lee's name right but nobody else's. Sasuke Uchiha, Maen Nara, but Rock Lee. Everyone else you fuck their names up and do First Last, but Lee gets Last First, as is proper.
And it's funny how many authors do the same thing lol

I really hope she doesn't act like a little kid much. Or at all. Never understood the fascination many fanfic authors have with making their reincarnated adult characters more childish than the actual children that surround them.
Granted, not saying it's necessarily -wrong- to characterize them that way. Just don't get why nearly every author does it.

wow.. I’ll be honest, I’ve been avoiding this story because of a review I saw but I’m glad I didn’t skip it as I truly enjoyed this more than I anticipated. The character depiction for everyone is great, and usually when there are shorter chapters, I don’t anticipate a great story. Don’t know why, I’m prejudiced but I’m trying to get out of that mindset. Also helps that your naruto is less head-ache inducing than the last fic I read, in fact he’s almost bearable. Guess that has to do with Mc’s perception. What’s Kabuto up to? Will there be sasuke bonding time? Will mc learn Tsunade’s strength? Will she reciprocate adorable Shika’s crush? Ooof can’t wait to tune in for more hahah
