What a brilliant story. I enjoyed it very much.

This is absolutely fantastic! Your Slytherin Ginny is a fascinating interpretation that I found to be so much more satisfying to read about than the canon Ginny in the books. Diary Tom is much smarter than what we see in HPThe Chamber of Secrets, and I actually found myself liking him while still being disturbed by him.

The way the Weasley family (except for Percy) treated Ginny made me mad at them, but I have to say that the seeds of their behavior in your story, especially with the twins and Ron, can be seen in their canon characters in the books.

Percy coming in on Ginny's side was perfect, and I loved the idea of him becoming Lucius Malfoy's personal assistant.

But have to say that your competent, clever, and cunning Narcissa Malfoy is my favorite character in this story, hands down. That gift box with the pin and scarf and other goodies , signifying her acceptance of Ginny's sorting and subsequent acts of calculated kindness, even as they supported the Malfoys' agenda, was a stark contrast to Molly Weasley's actions (trying to force a re-sorting) and inactions (not stopping the hexing and hateful treatment that Ron and the twins inflicted on Ginny during the summer holidays). Tom's pointing out that Molly could have knitted a green scarf but didn't, was a very striking moment, one that made me wince, but it really was the breaking point that really opened the rift between Ginny and the majority of her family.

I could go on and on about what I loved, but it is getting late, so I will finish this review with a heartfelt thank you for writing THINGS IN COMMON. I will recommend it to my HP fan friends, and I've added it to my favorites list. It is simply outstanding!

Wow that was an amazing story

Aww, one of the few times Percy isn’t an ass. If it wasn’t for the Weasleys being obsessed, I’m pretty sure Percy, Fed, and George would have been Slytherin.

I normally don’t read stories with Ginny as the protagonist, but I have read most of all your other works, so I thought I would give it a go.

I'm not usually a fan of ginny stories but this was well done! loved it!
