Wow. That really is a cheap ending. This had great potential but some areas...the ball was dropped hard for me. Especially dobby popping up and saving them. Guess that's why rowling killed that character. And why elf magic is always established to be this mythical wonderful thing, early in these stories, even against learned & studied wizard like head bastard or bitch snake face. Smh. And now the fluff and hea stuff commences.

This story would be better if the angsty school shit wasn't soooo heavily leaned on while the other parts of the active plot feeling so fucking rushed full of contrivances just for the sake of them.

So they also get to rape. But when they get killed by the good guys, it's a quickky and simply thing? Jesus fucking christ! Slowly sawing off the death bastards heads or something here would be a good exchange. Once I finish this story, i gotta find some ruthless and brutal harry fics where he really causes fear & terror to the enemies before he executes them...burn them up slowly or something.

Yeah, Harry defeating snake bastard is just too unbelievable now. It's not even remotely possibly if the traps snake bastard set can slice up an elite curse breaker & a master auror. Why didn't they take croaker with them? Unspeakables work with, around & through the mysteries of magic itself (light or dark, magic is magic right?) so it would've made sense to get him. The students are free so there's no rush to get to them. I mean snake bastard is just too powerful. I thought there was something hidden here that harry would discover (a mcguffin or something) that would at least be something that would give an impression of hope but two fully trained wizards (masters even) didn't stand a chance. So how is Harry supposed to? Power he knows not can't be that vague ass thing like in the series again...that would feel cheap as hell.

I'll say this, for all the bitching I've been doing, this is actually quite a good bit of fan work. Just about every character has been used to contribute something to the good guy's cause. I hope not too many die. But I'm still very pleased at what you did to head bastard. He deserved that shit, if not worst.

It would have been SMART for each rescuer to have an individual portkey on them as well.
