![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely chapter with a great scene at the end. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very strong chapter. Thanks for writing it. |
![]() ![]() It's all coming out of the blue with no situational descriptions at all. Where the f**k are they? I thought they were at Winterfell? How the f**k did they get to the capitol and you didn't mention a f**king thing about it? It's disjointed and makes no sense especially if readers didn't see the show or read the books. What the f**k is going on? You're not explaining anything! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fuck. I felt in a trench fighting side by side with the king, it's as if I was defending a world from falling by the salamnders in the Warhammer 40k. You have to write a war book someday my friend. Simply incredible. |
![]() ![]() ![]() U mfer I love the story so far but for the love of god please update them more frequently please. I have weekly check if this got updated . |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this fic. keep it up |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the update. Bring tears to my eyes this chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() My goodnesswhat a chapter. As I read it, it seemingly transported me to that tunnel in that moment of time. I could almost hear the chants of “To the death”. Fantastic storytelling and simply can’t wait till the next chapter. Bravo! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing chapter as always, I’m very keen to see what comes next. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So one thing that I'm always coming back to when reading a 'vs the others' war. Is the idea that 'humanity beat these guys when they were much lower on the tech tree'. Westeros was supposed to beat this threat (G.R.R.M. wasn't going to write a 'and then everyone died' ending), when they were as divided and unprepared as possible. When you want to make The Others threatening, you almost always have to upscale them from where they should be in canon. |
![]() ![]() Not going to lie hope Jaime lives Also I really hope Damon is the one to end the threat of the Others be it via killing the Night King or by making Peace of all things with them Hope at the very least if the Others can respect anything they respect Damon I also can’t wait for Damon to go south after this and wipe out the dragons claiming his throne as ever |
![]() ![]() ![]() A brilliant chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't review as often as I ought to on this site, but I know this chapter more than deserved one. Great stuff all around; definitely one of the better action sequences I've seen in writing. Keep up the great work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Everything. EVERYTHING I could have hoped for. Proper Helms Deep vibes like when the wall was breached. And now pulling back the bulk of the army to Winterfell proves to have been all the more wise. Assuming you are using the lore accurate Winterfell instead of the godaweful embarrassing insult to castle design of the fucking show (Shadiversity actually built a lore accurate version and it's FANTASTIC, check it out if you haven't), then Winterfell will prove a bastion against the invasion. And by adding the ice spiders, walls suddenly become far harder to hold, and they need to be ready for the monsters. The survivors at least know about those. I'm not clear on one thing, whether Jon Snow is with them or no. I don't think he was. My sole complaint is that none of the Shadows went with him. Those hardcore slayers deserved to have something of them live on, even if it does track that they stayed. I was looking forward to him having them AND his Kingsguard. I also never noticed his Kingsguard weren't in the tunnel until now. It looks like they also didn't make it? It was so chaotic at the end I don't think I was tracking it to well who went with him besides Tyrek, and that Jaime stayed to buy time. |
