Hmm. Nice chapter, nice end to Kaiser's reign, but...I must dispute the 'longer than the original' Reich quip. Hitler's Reich was the '3rd' Reich, after all. The 1st, the Original, was the Roman Empire, yeah? That lasted quite a few centuries. 2nd Reich being the Holy Roman Empire, roughly around the time of the Crusades. Instead, I thought Taylor'd compliment Kaiser on not suiciding like Hitler did.

I can feel the plot advancing now, with devices finally in place to advance Taylor becoming the Empress of Humankind. One problemwill Luna be her Horus, or will she simply be an obstacle in the end, despite her newly awakened psyker powers?

With the situation on Earth forming a quite bleak picture soon, it seems as if the way has been paved for an Empress's ascension. You set the scene for it with the Leviathan attack on Brockton Bay, and now major communities are basically devolving into techno-barbarian states for an Empress to war against and take over.

I suppose there's a question that needs to be answeredis Taylor functionally immortal?

Evil clones are always a terrible writing crutch, especially ones that talk and talk and moralise, and the protagonist wastes more than a nano-second listening to them. I could have put up with it if this chapter was the end, but I see Luna survived. So I'm not going to waste any more time on this story if I have to swallow more of that in your writing.

I have to be the only one who think the Luna plotline is absolute garbage. Clones almost always devaluate a story, and this one isn't one of the precious few that doesn't.

Yknow a thought I had about internal conflict for Taylor, making the choice to put Danny (after an encounter with your own villain or Luna or whatever) into a Dreadnaught frame. While most likely impossible with current technology, it's your story you do whatever. Your choice. Enjoying the story greatly, especially Big E and Taylor's sass.
