Beautiful story. Could have done without the mature bits, but the rest was quite perfect. I especially loved Filius' reactions - first to Snape, then Hermione as the news broke.

I must admit, at first I was a little unsure of the non linear approach. I'm glad I stuck with your format though. This is a very interesting take on a trope and your abilities really shine. Thank you for this story. I will be revisiting it in the future.

Loved this. It's a beautifully plotted and constructed masterpiece and deserves more recognition. Hermione's strained relationship with her parents is excellent. Having Percy round it off was lovely. The children were sufficiently different from each other but still acknowledging genetics and environment. The jumping between times meant some attention was needed to timeline, but shorter chapters made it manageable.

The chapter with Hermione's scars was amazing. I struggle a little with the idea that no-one manages to dig up dirt on a member of the Golden Trio. Simon is delightful. I like the idea that there needs to be discussion about what to do about the Marriage Law. Too often there seems to be no consideration of potential consequences. These things have ramifications...

Hermione's letter to her parents is such a sad little chapter.

I'm very lax about reviewing early chapters but loved your non chronological structure and tone of the first chapters. Hermione can tune pianos! And Snape feels appropriately uncomfortable about an underage soulmate...

This was amazing! I adored it! I also loved the short chapters where it was usually just inner snape grumbling about HG. Adorable, well written and a great afternoon read. I also liked that the chapters weren’t terribly long so reading them out of order flowed smoothly, whereas longer chapters tend to make one forget where they were at. I also appreciated each chapter had the year clearly marked for reference. Anyways, this was great and I enjoyed it.

This was a quick, yet amazing read. I really love the way you structured this, and starting with Simon was a very good idea. I was never once confused, because the actual timeline and events make complete sense. Hermione and Severus' relationship just seems so natural here, and I love that.
All in all, I really loved this story and I'm glad it had a happy ending :)
