![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, but can we like take a minute to appreciate the brilliance of "The music transports him to a carefree time of smiles..." Like dude, I'm baffled by how clever that play on words was. The time may be rewinded, but they can never truly go back. The nations have to relive horrors greater than the ones they have ever experienced in the outside world. This was just beautiful. Alfred's adoration for England's eyes and the stubborn spirit contained with them is unfathomably poetic. Very well- written :) -Ella |
