You have a real talent for this and a great sense of balance between both the positive and negative aspects of the story, with even a touch of humor. I laughed out loud when DJ and the huff (huff is hilarious!) slipped in the creek, and the hysterical emotion they expressed in the ups truck while eluding the people chasing after them. I didn't cry while reading this, but certainly being on tv with the songs you had listed, I believe you would have my daughters and I in tears. They are big walking/talking/fear the dead fans and will enjoy reading this series. Your website and facebook page look great, too. I enjoy seeing the new illustrations you post. Have you ever considered doing this as a comic? |
