So, a review. Negatives first. Very little to complain about actually, except for a couple of commonly seen grammar issues. It seems to be normal for native speakers (I assume?) to have trouble with a few rules. Normally I don't comment on grammar, but I wanted to be constructive in my review and there's not much else to point out. Not sure if you have a beta-reader, but either just going to direct your attention to the difference between passed and past, woman and women and your and you're. Don't worry the mistakes are few! Now postives! All around praise for the story, a good original plot, believable dialogue despite it being a little forced due to the circumstances (points for that, must be tough not making it sound silly and unrealistic all the time), nice measured character development and kudos to having the balls writing a dark Dark Lord as a protagonist while struggling to keep your readers somewhat sympathetical towards him. In regards to the pacing, which you seem to express doubt about. Personally I think it is perfect. Yes, the Sirius act took a lot of time and space, but short of cutting it alltogether I don't think it could be handled better. Time skips flows perfectly in the story as well: giving enough detail without it feeling like we missed out on something interesting. Overall good job (I think I've said that before) and thanks for the read. I will be awaiting the next chapter!

Oh boy I love when I find these hidden gems. I really don't understand how bad taste the majority of fanfic readers have. Most of the 1k fave stories doesn't even hold a candle to some of these unrecognized masterpieces (okay maybe not a masterpiece, but definetely a well-written highly entertaining story that manages to keep me up most of the night). Way too few faves on this.

Dont be sorry about building up your storyline. It was very interesting to see this side of Toms character.

One way or another Hogwarts will be quite interesting. I guess Harry will go straight to Slytherin, where some might wonder why exactly a little girl is suddenly the one calling the shots.
Or go to another house and some will end up wondering why a little girl is suddenly calling the shots in Slytherin anyway.

The best line of this whole mess with training Sirius to be a mindful godfather however was the one where Voldemort took him from Azkaban simply because he thought "maybe Harry would like to meet him". He can go dark lording all he wants, but that one line showed his character perfectly.

A well done chapter. Sirius finally gets to meet Harry. Their meeting was well done in how the setting and tone was set up as it would be awkward for the two as well as how nervous both parties feel about the other. It would make sense how the conversation went as well as how Harry viewed her parents as instead of fighting why not run away. The Greater Good is something that she will never believe in even if Sirius were to try and justify it. The guilt he felt and the resolve he will go through was nicely done as his character developed into understanding a bit of the Dark Side. Harry's childhood was nicely explained here as her groups of friends increase as well as how she interacted with the Malfoys. The timeskip will be interesting. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Lol great chapter! Can't wait for the next one! Just a suggestion, if you were ever thinking of writing side stories, I'd be very interested in reading about the two governesses that felt his wrath! I feel like that will be a very worthy read
