It seems cold when Voldemort talks about killing Bones, but when you think about it sane leaders at one point or another actively planned killing innocent people to stop bad things. I look forward to the next chapter.

Harry could just stay with the Malfoys, it's not like the wards would drag him back, and the light wizards probably wouldn't even think to look there (and they'd need a search warrant anyway, or whatever the equivalent is in the Wizarding World).
