![]() ![]() ![]() A great piece! You really know each character so well. And I appreciated seeing things through Megumi’s POV, as a doctor, as a non-combatant, etc. it was refreshing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A really very good story. |
![]() ![]() I don't think people seem to realize something. The author of this story has passed away, she died in an accident. This happened many years ago, hence no updates on the story. It's very sad and a lot of the authors here mourned her and wrote dedication pieces for her. I hope she continues writing, wherever she is. |
![]() ![]() So I know I'm a little late on the draw (13 years is a little? What?) and that you might not even still be attached to this account any more, but I just wanted to say that I really honestly very much enjoyed this story, and it filled in exactly what I would have imagined to happen at the end of the Kyoto arc that we didn't get to see. This is probably the best Rurouni Kenshin fic I've read so far, and the characters were extremely well written, to the point where I could totally hear their voices as I read. I spent a very happy three evenings reading this story, and will more than likely come back to read it again and again. It surely not one that I will soon forget. Wonderful job, and I hope dearly that you went on to continue writing after the last update of this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() very good |
![]() ![]() ![]() good story, and good character study. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I saw the stars that Megumi and Sano were gazing at. Perfect. |
![]() ![]() ![]() re-reading old fics. I love your art and your tales. I wish you would be here to continue all of your stories, but I guess I can wait until we meet in heaven. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() One of the best I've ever read! portrays their emotions and thoughts so well! and Please tell me you'll be working on a sequel, at least a one shot for sano and megumi! PLEASE! They're soooooo nice together! I love your understanding of their dynamics and chemistry together and i really want to read more of it :) PS: Soul of a Hitokiri is one of my absolute favorites together with the sequel Changing Sides by Moonsilver |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was wonderful. The feelings were real. The characters are authentic. I'm glado to have found such a masterpiece. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I could definitely see something like this happening after Shishou's defeat. I love how you portrayed Megumi, Kenshin and the others. This was a well written story that I truly enjoyed reading. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love your story! great writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I only discovered Keshin's animes this year, and thoroughly enjoyed them (am just starting on the mangas). Your story is a delightful continuation of the Kyoto Arc and brings it to a very satisfying close... fills in a gaping hole in the original story with a well written plug that fills in all the little nooks and crannies. And now I'm off to see if the illustrations you hinted at ever got posted, because it was a picture called 'Not Immortal" that led me here, and I'd love to see more art to illuminate this tale :) |
