I also think he wouldn’t even be that mad at the Cullens if their leaving never affected Bella. He would have reacted to the same exact actions differently based on how they affected Bella. |
| VryUnique chapter 71 . 2/26/2023 I keep laminating on the fact that they are teenagers who broke up and Charlie is overreacting but this chapter definitely made me see it more in his pov. The Cullens did take Bella into their home and treat her like family and then cut her out of their lives when the kids broke up, that was inexcusable. I still don’t think Charlie should be crucifying Edward the way he is, he is still a teenager who moved with his parents and you can’t really blame him for not keeping in touch with his ex. |

They moved and their teenage son moved with them, it is not their fault or Edward’s fault how Bella handled the breakup. We know there is more to it but Charlie doesn’t know that. I also have questions about the covenant. A mated pair can make a decision and you can’t go against them. A mated pair did not make the decision for them to leave, Edward made that decision by himself so that shouldn’t have fallen under the covenant rules. |
