RUBIK, thank you for another exquisite chapter. Approaching the ending is bittersweet, but I know I'll enjoy reading Extinction again and again. Plus, who knows what magic you'll create next! I've enjoyed an embarrassingly large number of fan fiction pieces, but this is my very favorite. I'm not sure you could blow that lead with even a terrible final chapter, not that there's much risk of that.

This is such a great few chapters! It was so exciting and had some great twists!

Haven't reviewed a chapter in ages, but I just wanted to let you know that your writing is as addictive as ever. Another rollercoaster chapter, and have somehow managed to fall even further in love with Hermione and Narcissa together. I'm seeing more and more reasons that show why they fit so well together.
Plenty of ups and downs as well, which I don't always look forward to (because I just honestly feel so awkward reading/viewing/hearing any type of conflict) but dang it if you don't make its so damn effortless to read.
Her arm. I just. Can't. No. What. That's so Hermione to be so logical though.
Can't wait for this story to wrap up into what I'm sure will be a perfect, intriguing little bundle.

OMFG! What an intense chapter. I loved every bit of it. The fighting scene was so well written it was like being there. I can't believe Hermione cut her arm off, but I'm happy to see she and Narcissa are fine. An excellent chapter through and through. I can't wait to see what happens next

True confession, I almost started *bawling* on the train ride home when Draco got hit. I was terrified for him! And Hermione! Holy shit. Who knew a knitting charm could be deadly? All the points to you for creativity. Props to her for saving Draco! And Harry with the bubblehead charm had me worried too!

The big reveal literally made my mouth drop! It all makes sense now why Lorelei was fighting so hard for the Ash Society in earlier chapters. I sensed she was involved. I just didn’t realize the extent. Holy shit. *mind blown* I half expected her to cast the Killing Curse, but hopefully she did not. Hopefully someone got her husband!

The tender moments between Lucius & Narcissa *destroyed* me. Absolutely ruined me. Again, I wanted to wail, but you know... on a train. I had to control myself, but I got very teary!

I love how you’ve depicted their relationship - how they still love each other despite their marriage not ultimately working out. And he saved Narcissa *and* Hermione both. That just slaughtered me emotionally as well.

Loved the appearance of Mr. Weasley, Mr. Lovegood, Neville and his grandma! Thankfully they didn’t push the fighting and went off to see the prisoners.

Hermione’s a much better person than me because I probably would have let Lorelei get killed. Is that a bad thing to say? Omg. I am an awful person, aren’t I?

Realistically, my magic wouldn't have been as good to cast the charm. Also, she cut off her own arm? WTF. And Narcissa transfigured into a snake?! WTF. Nice tie in to canon - Draco was transformed into a ferret.

I would have been upset if you left it on another cliffhanger. You know... since you left the last chapter ended on one! So, thankfully all is seemingly well at the end. No mention of Hermione’s arm, but I think she got it back.

Even if it hurts, huh? Love is funny like that. Chapter was great, and I'm so fueled with adrenaline that I could just run lol So the myth was true. Wonder what Cissy will say about that. It surprised me to see so many of the "Good guys" buying into the twisted bs the Ash Society was spilling. I can understand why they fell for it, though. Lucius saving Hermione and Narcissa was was a nice surprise. Good thing Draco didn't put that magic blocker on him. Great chapter!

OMFG. I've been reading and re-reading and re-re-reading and I'm in love. Characterization, plot, foreshadowing... Hermione being flawed and realizing it (esp with centsur interactions and realizations about her assault on Ron during the horcrux hunt) and the "kid" generation being willing to give chances but still be snarky to each other are particular favorites. I can't wait to see how the wizarding world at large responds to thiswith The Golden Trio siding with Dracothe other Slytherin kids I'm hoping it's a positive (or at least hopeful) ending. Did I mention I'm in love with this story? (I've started drinking chai tea while reading)
