True blooded siblings and first cousin can't marry. Illya is the only last member of the Emiya family (it's sad) , while Shirou adapted the name of Emiya. He really dense or avoiding it.

Not a fan of flashbacks tbh. They mostly are less interesting than the usual story imo. I can count the times I've actively wished for a flashback on one hand. They tend to just take away space and time from the main storyline.

Well, they arent siblings so no problem. Hell, given the fact that the first time they met was like a couple months ago it would actually be harder to view her as a sibling. It sounds more like he trying to convince himself.

Easy fix for most his problems is form a contract with Illya (though it kinda sounded like they already had in previous chapters), similar to what he did with Rin than he will have no problem with prana.

Illya cannot mimic Gil's GoB. Not even close, so how Shirou felt it was like facing Gil again was either a flat out lie or he is delusional.

Gotta wonder why he didnt use any other weapons other than the married swords and generic fodder swords? He really would have no prob with prana with a contract with Illya, so there is no need to use low cost weapons. Though the married swords are his goto weapon of choice if he has the experience of Archer like it seems or intergrated (either one). Still, its not like it really matters when he copies the skill of previous wielders.

Shame its not Miyuverse Shirou, now there is a real badass.

Illya can provide the mana shirou needed for continuous usage of tracing for a prolonged time.
