Reviews for Haldir & The Easterling Of Lothlorien |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Couldn’t finish the story unfortunately. I came here thinking it was a Haldir/oc and suddenly it becomes a oc/oc which I am not interested in. Otherwise some things in the story was great |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed the story. Amdir and Haldir had their ups and downs, but got through it in the end. I especially enjoyed the banter between the king and Haldir. Hilarious! Thanks for the great read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I would have loved it if you kept the story as your main character being with the easterling elf, i loved that part of the story but I lost interest after you put you character and Haldir back together. Sorry! |
![]() ![]() An exciting story with surprises in the plot. I certainly didn't expect Amdir to end up in love with Uldor, since she was in love with Haldir and for Uldor to die! The arranged marriage for the sake of an alliance was an interesting concept and I liked Amdir's character. Haldir was wonderful as stubborn and arrogant at times and I enjoyed his constant fighting with Thranduil. The presence of the twins as well as Haldir's brothers (and Seren) was an enjoyable addition to the main plot. What I was thinking for Uldor kept changing as the plot progressed. He kept revealing more aspects of his character. Although he was not a bad guy I am glad Amdir found her happy ending with Haldir. Thanx for your great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful story! Glad for the happy ending! |
![]() ![]() ![]() So sad... I can't believe Uldor is gone! I didn't expect this.. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am so happy that Amdir and (especially) Haldir finally received their happy ending! xx LC |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this chapter! They're finally reconciled! (And now I'm back to shipping Amdir and Haldir...) |
![]() ![]() I just read your story and oh my goodness. I cannot wait to read your next chapter! Please, please update soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() At Last! To find their true joy!...To find that their love still lives!. ..Sometimes an old King can get it right!... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally they are engaged! Even if at first they were bethroted against their wills and opinions, it is really symbolic and important that Haldir, as proper and calm he normally is, literally said 'duty be damned'. I am sure they will be happy together if they manage to go against the Dark forces and their current prisoner. I really feel sorry for Aea as she has gone through a lot and has suffered enough. However, Thranduil is right: she lacks faith in anyone that is not like her. And that is why I applaud the Elvenking's decision to send Amdir in a humanitarian mission to help them. And of course it will help a lot to have an alliance between Lothlorien and Mirkwood. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I could not post my review to the last chapter! Please, do not kill Haldir. I repeat, do not let him die! Amdir would never be able to withstand the grief and she has already gone through a lot... I loved the fact that Thranduil told her that he did not care if she had 'shamed him' as he just wanted to see her alive and well... And Amdir joking with Legolas about marriage is also priceless. But they are both right: if Haldir does not want to have anything with her then he is not worth the pain and heartbreak she'll have to undergo if she decides to stay by his side... however, it is highly valuable and adorable if she did stay with him and decided not to continue to serve Elrond. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *cries* I love this story so much. Actually so much. You have such a gift for characterizations- you have an uncanny way to make me love and understand all the characters, even Aea. Is there any chance you'll take requests? Can't wait for more xx |
![]() ![]() Hell of a fight! But Haldir! He has to pull through! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Amdir! What is she to do!? Imagining the shame she is going through is just unbearable. How could Haldir treat her like a worn out shoe? Plus, there is the fact that I ignore who she should trust. I mean, what if Haldir is just treating Aea that way out of jealousy because of who her brother was? But then away why did Amdir find compromising material? Guess I'll have to wait to find out. |
