Thanks for your hard work. Definitely seems to be natural on both sides. Because I reviewed the previous chapter that Salamander, and now Natsu, wasn't exactly consistent on what he did this chapter really shows that he's reasonable person, and he sounds to be less talkactive if I remember how much he is in the canon but still I prefer him the way you write him, that's what I think about this character. About Erza she's a bit, not sure what term to say about her, shaky(?) as she started to doubt everything after she talked to Natsu. This chapter feels complete I mean no lack of element compared to the earlier chapter which no explanation about Salamander. And Natsu's goal get to the light this is, somehow, the answer to a lot of things, not sure what they are it's just what I get after I read them. Thanks for your hard work and looking forward to the next chapter.

Interesting plot twists, can't wait to find out the rest. The suspense is good as well. Keep writing man.

Intriguing idea and I like it a lot, my only complaint is that for how powerful you made Natsu out to be, taking on three Oracion Sies members and winning, but him actually struggling against fairy tail mages? That doesn't make much sense to me honestly, the Magic council fears him but he pretty much got his ass handed to him by 4 mages, and only two of them qualify as S-class. I hope this kind of doesn't become a reoccurring thing because I like the idea of a Natsu not being bound by the sense of morality that comes out of the Fairy Taik guild, morally complex characters catch my eye so I will continue reading this for now.

Great chapter man. I may have missed something while reading this but why did he point to his left wrist and why was she so emotional about it.

I just hope you don't fall into using the "Fairy Tail Love & Friendship Power-Up Hak" that the canon pretty much totally relies on to defeat enemies who put actual EFFORT into becoming strong. I personally started reading Fairy Tail hoping that it would be a little like Rave Master, an epic story with memorable characters and powers, but instead it was like a hippy love fest (but I still like many of the characters). So when I read your story's darker edge I really liked it.

Ho-holy fucking shit that was incredible; Jesus mate, that's probably the most exhilarating fight-scene I've seen in any story I'd read in months. You really portrayed them both as giving it their absolute all, and fighting to the absolute bitterest end. I really like how it took a great deal of teamwork and effort for them to fight him, and unlike other stories; it wasn't just a power-fantasy steam-roll. Natsu only barely escaped, and they were in horrible condition. I usually skim fight-scenes when they start to bore me; but this one kept me reading slower than usual, just so I could see everything unfold. Like I said before, praising fight-scenes is something I am poor at; so I'll have to leave it at that. I am happy it ended the way it did, though I do admit I kind of felt that Gray and some of the others were going to extremes at times; at one or two points it seemed like they were trying to go for the death blow almost. Despite that, exemplary fight-scene, full marks from me for that!

Good progress so far. As much as I like Erza, it's quite bad for me to see that Salamander, as he's not been named yet, being soft to her and the others of Fairy Tail members. To know his enemies might be something reasonable, but I think nhe should have hit them even harder than he did. Legal guilds like Fairy Tail have reputation having strong members, but no one knows exactly about dark guilds, if I read the canon, dark guilds seem to be even weaker than the legal ones, the fact of the story that they were destroyed by Salamander completely. But somehow this does seem right to me for Salamander leaving them injured, or rather only that far of damage he gave them, and before that they attacked him to trigger the fight, as Salamander or rather Natsu in the canon is so kind and reasonable enough not to hit back but still leave his opponent breathing like most of the canon goes. In this story Salamander seemed to be merciless which scared the people and made a reputation for his own, if he's not that bad to Erza and the others this reputation and other's perspective of him are not justified especially when he was about to end a slaver's (iirc) life who he hate so much. Overall I think that it's quite inconsitency between Salamander and the rest of characters. It's a good story for sure. I know that this review is bad enough to read, but it's just the story made me contemplate so much, so I just need to convey it. Thanks for your hard work, looking forward to the next progress.
