It's been a while. Sorry to anyone excited by a notification of a new chapter. I just want to thank everyone for your support throughout writing MM, and for your kind words and inspiring stories. I'm deeply touched that my story has helped and inspired so many people.

For those who have asked or are curious, MM will not be continuing at this stage. Rowling's transphobia has poisoned most of my enthusiasm to write in this world, and I no longer feel comfortable continuing in the face of her financial contributions to transphobic hate groups and legal institutions. Potentially I could write more in the future, if she no longer financially benefits from HP or I feel enough inspiration/spite to continue in a way that addresses her bullshit, but for now, I'm bowing out.

I like the idea of the staff seeing it from an academic viewpoint to study something completely unknown, but it felt a tad too immediate accepting (mainly with the pronouns) but I also like the viewpoint that the founders' 1500 year old charm somehow knows, meaning there has to be a magical way to check such things, even if it was found by complete accident. I can see dumbledore and McGonagall looking at it from THAT way to confirm their detections in the future. I will crack up if the Scarf of Sexual Preference and Gloves of Gender Identity are created by the end of the term to join the sorting hat xD

Also: this story's sheer existence is a lovely "F You" to Jo Rowling, so I'm all here for it lolol
