Hey I have some ideas there for your fanfic xd, you could use the theory of the agreement between pink and rose, ai the rose reveals that apink never lived and that was just saved for the right time and all that blablabla of plot twist

The feels are so intense right now! This chapter was a bit too close to home for me as I had a similar conversation with my ex. It's eerie how similar it was so I definitely connected to this chapter. Its nice that Greg is letting Blue try and discover what loving a human is like. I can definitely see his frustrations because I can easily picture Blue being so carefree and intrigued by all of these little earth practices and seeming to not take things seriously. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter (to both stories!)

I must say, you guys have certainly captured my attention with this magnificent story. I'm presently reading Faded Blue, but it's great to get a prequel to such a wonderful tale.

The very idea of Blue meeting Greg, instead of Rose, is one that deserves to be explored. After all, I did feel that they developed a connection during their brief conversation in canon. And so far, this story has done a great job of portraying such a notion.

One thing that really stuck out (to me) in this chapter was the concept of a Diamond's pefection. In gem society, they are considered flawless brings; therefore, any action or decision they make is inherently perfect and just. This tied in well with Blue's shape shifting. At first, she was uncertain of breaking the rules about changing one's form, but when driven to change, due to a need to fulfill her personal desire (getting a closer look at the book), she quickly abandoned a societal norm, justifying it with the perfection of a diamond. But this only shows how fragile and meaningless these rules are, when they can be so easily broken.

Anyway, that's my personal take on this chapter. Fantastic job, and keep up the good work :)
