| Bearmauls chapter 62 . 2/28
The Lisa stuff was solid!
Vista stuff was good too. She's what, 13? Not the most emotionally stable or logical, even with her extensive Ward experience. She lashed out and got slapped down HARD for it, both by the PRT and the whole arm-blown-off. I can see her coming around to this place.
| Bearmauls chapter 57 . 2/28
Brilliant use of Dinah.
| Bearmauls chapter 49 . 2/28
Seems weird that Lisa wouldn't have briefed Taylor and Amy on the potential capes they might encounter in their mission (Travelers and other Undersiders).
| Bearmauls chapter 42 . 2/28
Aww, Taylor is Amy's best friend. That was adorable. Also, nothing like a mutual enemy and shared death threats to build a friendship. Maybe Lisa and Amy can get along now.
| Bearmauls chapter 41 . 2/28
Poor Amy, at the end there. But I can hope!
| Bearmauls chapter 39 . 2/28
Long run for Lisa.
| Bearmauls chapter 36 . 2/28
The fortune teller bit felt like it came rather out of left field...
| Bearmauls chapter 32 . 2/28
Wow, Vista. That's not going to go well for you.
| starwars05 chapter 119 . 2/28
Can’t help but feel redemption is a bit too strong but was definitely a satisfying conclusion to her character at least for me
| Bearmauls chapter 16 . 2/28
Fairly sure a competent lawyer could get Taylor off here. Her defenses clearly had an initial warning mode to deter intruders, and a clear pattern of escalation that allowed intruders to retreat. Shadow Stalker took none of those options, and was approaching with clearly violent intent and lethal capability. A regular, unpowered human in the USA has legal protection if they shoot to kill under those circumstances.

Er... I've not read Ward, but Glaistig Uaine' given, birth name is mentioned in Worm: Ciara. Which is one of the most Irish names there is. It's an OLD one, too; 1,500 years in documented use, along with its masculine counterpart, Ciarán. The name itself means "Black", fwiw.

"Χαιρετίστε, νίκη!", perhaps? (Khairetíste, níki!)

I love it! Most fics just forget about Emma once she's out of the way. They just abandon trying to show that she is a person so as to get to a just desserts/punishment scene. Here, she's still a flawed person, but now she has clear depth. This chapter was cathartic to read. Thanks!
