Wow, this is definitely different from canon, that's for sure XD

I'm actually really curious to see how this progresses. Aizawa has such a coarse persona that I think it would be literal HELL for Midoriya to train with him.

I also kind of hope that Midoriya will remain quirkless in this one. Not because Aizawa can't transfer his quirk to Midoriya, but because it would be a more interesting take to show Midoriya grow to become a hero without a power.

One qualm I have about this is that the paragraphs are just TOO long. On average, a paragraph should be between 15-50 words. Each paragraph here could probably average around 100-200 words. It's not really a matter of whether or not the content runs off or is bad, but more the fact that it's an eyesore to see all these words jumbled up into one whole block of text after another. Try and space them out a little more, it would definitely attract more readers to your style. Formatting may seem small, but it's a huge part in drawing the attention and support of readers.

Oh man Aizawa is just as brutal as I expected. Curious how many chapters there'll be between this and the entrance exam and whether anyone finds out about Izuku's training. Looking forward to next Friday!

I like this, premise seems quite interesting and approaching a "prickly pear" like Aizawa-san may be more than young Midoriya bargained for.

I like this. What really got its hooks in me was the end and Aizawa's specific use of words. Very Bat-family which is always nice to see.

Anytime we get to see Midoriya take initiative in his hero career is cool for me. Its a good show of his character that he consciously makes the effort to prove himself to Eraserhead by following the guy home; it feels like Izuku has a decent grasp on Aizawa's tendencies and personality which leads into his own analytical nature.

I'm actually surprised how little Aizawa is used as a first-contact Hero for Midoriya. Your story makes a good point in that Eraserhead as a hero is a guy who prioritizes startegy and skill over the strength of his quirk, he really is someone young Izuku would/should idolize at least as much as All Might for that fact alone.

There was something I remember from another fic where one of the characters takes note of the fact that for the physical training All Might gives Midoriya before the UA exam, he never actually teaches him how to fight. I assume this will not be the case with Aizawa: if that man is going to invest his time in making this kid a hero, he's going to put everything he has into doing as thorough a job as possible. Wonder what all that extra experience and training will mean for Midoriya when dealing with Bakugo and his other classmates.

You've got a good start going. I'll be watching out for this one.

Oh man. Having Izuku learn from Aizawa before going to U.A. should be very interesting, especially since the story is being set up so that Izuku won't (hopefully) be acquiring One for All at any point. Very excited to see where you go from here!

if this doesn't turn into yaoi I will read it too then end, because we don't have enough fanfics where midoriya stays quirkless

My one pet peeve with MHA is that Izuku's lack of quirk was dealt with by giving him one. He could have been the MHA universe's Batman. This is exactly the story I've been wanting.
