   Copop chapter 1 . 6/12/2017 Nice surprise :D And also very interesting on so many levels. Why was Espo contacted first about Castle being found? Is he Captain instead of Kate? Is she still only a Detective? Where is Ryan? We have no indicators that Kate moved on. In regards to other relationships - rather the opposite, she said she never stopped looking for him. And, of course, Castle being gone for six years - can't wait what you make of this. I was surprised it was six years - sure, it's loosely bases on Absentia, but you still could have made it the same time frame like on the show. Which I actually forgot - wow. Two months, six? Huh. Looking forward to reading more! Till the next chapter :) |
| Hamlet 77 chapter 1 . 6/12/2017 I know what you are trying to do here, but I'm wary of tryi g to compare the two incidences from two shows with only one basic common denominator. It is very brave AND it could work, but if I'm being honest Castle was about then, whereas Absentia is looking forward and I'm pretty certain the circumstances of that plot are not going to resemble anything like Castle plots. It's just not the path I see anyone involved doing. It's going to be awfully tempting to compare FanFiction that dealt with a longer disappearance by Rick at the time of the storyline. I do hope you don't just slip into the long winded stories that occurred at the time and see a bit braver and try to insert some of what we know about Absentia, maybe giving everyone a hint about what you think we might see in Absentia, because it is obvious that the disappearance is just the begining of that story. |
