i can't believe i waited 1.5 years to read this story! at first i was reluctant to read this given kate's situation being married to another guy, but yesterday i finally gave it a try. so beautiful as always! thank you for sharing your talent in writing caskett stories with us. hope to see more in the future :)

Laughed at that first line. Castle definitely wanted Beckett in a bikini. But probably only so he could then divest her of that bikini. Really liked Jim and Castle’s talk. Glad Martha is still Martha. And then Castle and Beckett got to spend some quality time together. I’m glad she told him about the letter. That was nice. Thanks.

Yay! The Hamptons! And Martha’s there too to reconcile with her son. Love Lily’s excitement over staying at the beach house.

Oh love how Kate takes him to Coney Island and the callback to her possibility of joy speech. Brilliant. Also like the suggestion of a Hamptons visit. Castle would definitely like to see Beckett in a bikini or... well, nothing, really. ;)

In some ways the visit to where he was held seemed more difficult for Kate than for Castle. Wonderfully written, especially how Castle reassured Beckett that she wasn’t at fault for not finding him and attempting for move on when she got married to Demming.

I like how you kept the rescues/escapes similar to the show. Kate freeing herself and slaying Kelly Nieman was intense. Like how Alexis and the boys came to Castle’s rescue before then going for Kate. Lily is one tough kid. Gets it from her parents.

So intense. Someone I knew they’d get captured by those villains. I’m hoping Kate pulls off an escape like she did in the show, though I’m not sure I’d want her to scalpel Kelly Nieman in front of Lily. Wonder how Castle can escape Tyson.
