Good thing both Fumblemort and Snape have thick skulls. It's too bad Harry couldn't sue the ministry or even Fudge personally for the loss of his Nimbus 2000. True its' loss gives him the opportunity to buy a Firebolt but there never should've been Dementors anywhere near that so-called school! Though I'm not sure Fudge is smart enough to think up placing them there on his own. I can see Umbitch or Lucy or even both " HELPING " him with the decision. Especially with a bit of gold from Lucy. Now from the hints in this chapter suspect that Luna is also a Force sensitive and a seer as well. Though the seer part could also be a Force power and not at all magical.

Oh yeah! Damn good story! I remember reading some of it before but can't remember what chapter I was on when I lost it. Not that it really matters. I'm enjoying rereading it as it is. If I remember rightly this wasn't finished when I was last reading it. Not to mention it had a hell of a lot fewer chapters to it. But please don't take so long to update it this time around. I do realize that you've got other stories to update as well so I'm not pushing you on it. It happens when it happens. If you must, chain your muse to your writing desk so she can't escape again till it's finished. ;)

I think it might actually hurt the Dursleys to sign that permission slip. After all, it would be allowing Harry to have an enjoyable weekend several times a year. As to Padfoot getting that long overdue trial, if Good Ole Fumblemort gets wind of it, he'll move Heaven, Earth as well as Hell to stop it. Should Sirius not only get a FAIR trial but be found innocent of all charges Harry'd go to live with him as well as having a much, much better life thereafter. Something that Good Ole Fumblemort seems hell bent on preventing.

Of course, Good Ole Fumblemort didn't do anything to help Hagrid! It wasn't in his own best interests to do so. He didn't need Hagrid for anything at that time. Now if Harry were to get Hagrid's name cleared, Good Ole Fumblemort would find a way to claim credit for the deed. It's already clear to me that Good Ole Fumblemort never DESTROYED the Stone like he told Harry he had. Fumblemort doesn't even have a passing acquaintance with the truth! If A he's above ground and B breathing, then C he's lying. He's not gonna be at all happy when he finally learns that Harry's no longer a Horcrux. All his future plans are based around Harry having to die to destroy the last one and allow himself to either kill Vulturewurst or imprison him somewhere he'll never be able to escape. Oh, he'll make it look like he killed Vulturewurst for the glory, but he might need him somewhere down the road to scare the Magical World again. That would be just like him.

Only that total moron Fudge could or would come up with the idea of allowing Dementors on the Hogwarts Express unsupervised! Though it's highly likely that he was easily talked (BRIBED) into it by someone like Lucy Malfoy or Umbridge could've just gone off the rails a few years early and authorized it. However, if it was Lucy's doing, he would've had some protection for his son and heir other than his normal two bodyguards. Something that would ensure Draco DIDN'T get KISSED!
