|Reviews for The Griffon's Tears|
| Artista321 chapter 1 . 10/1/2013
My goodness, you are a spectacular author.
| Empatheia chapter 1 . 2/20/2006
*sighs happily* I can't believe I've been putting off reading this. It's always such a joy to read your work. I love the idea of Legolas as an army general... all that power and manliness. M.
There were two teensy spelling errors, don't know if you care but I'll tell you anyways on the off chance. First paragraph- 'Rocks and *ruble*...", should be *rubble*. And about Legolas' letters... full of 'wit', not 'whit.' Other than that, perfect as usual! _
I'm very curious about this character Zarraweth. Interesting name, interesting person. Looking forward to learning more about her!

yeah fellow errol flynn fan...
My favorite is "Captain Blood" and I adore "The Sea Hawks" and "Robin Hood". Have you seen any other good ones? I'm eagerly looking forward to "Pirates of the Caribbean." Orlando has reminded me of Errol from the very first, so it will be fun to see him in a pirate movie.
And here's just a bit of trivia for you . . . Olivia de Havalind, who was so often Errol Flynn's leading lady, admitted many years after his death that she had been in love with him all those years, but never told him. Rather sad and romantic, eh?
Hadn't heard that one. It is sad, esp. since they were so good together in the movies.
Did you know that the same sword/fencing master taught orlando as taught errol? I think you can tell. Orlando is excellent at it!
Movies of his? definately Robin hood, Capt. Blood is excellent too. I think he did a mutiny on the bounty movie. Also, Elizabeth the Queen, I think, where he is her lover who gets executed.

| Elflingimp chapter 1 . 10/31/2005

| elfy chapter 1 . 3/3/2005
Griffons tears was the best story i've ever read. ever. And i've read lots of books. please write more! I thought there was going to be another story called Elven home? Is there?
| Erin Lasgalen chapter 18 . 11/29/2003
I absolutely love this entire series! It is well-paced and wonderfully romantic without being smaltzy. This is my favorite sort of story, a heart-thumping romance set without a good story in its own right! Please continue on with further tales of the happily married couple!
| angelfeather chapter 18 . 9/12/2003
No words could express how amazing, incredibly, stupendous, enrapturing, enchanting, astounding, fantastic, wonderful and any other adjective I could dwelve from the depths of me to say how marvelous this story, along with it's compainions, is. Never ever on this website and it's sister site have I ever come across a story so detailed, perfected and beautifully sculpted as this. How humane and emotional you made Alede and Legolas and all of the other characters is just mind-blowing. How you made this 'horrid' build-up and anticipation of Alede and Legolas' romance cannot be descriped except in saying that it is so incredibly true. If Tolkien was around, he'd be wanting you to write his books for him. You and Thecla have brought so much joy to my usually miserable life by making me laugh, cry, scream, sigh, yell, whoop with joy as these tales have unfolded. Don't EVER stop writing, actually, why not publish it, you'd make a fortune out of me!
Thank you once again. It has been a true honor read these.
| PhoenixMageFire chapter 6 . 8/26/2003
OOh! I want to go to a Wood Elf celebration! I can just hear the drums now, sounding like heart beats and see a Divine Lord in his silver robes, awaiting his Lady... *sigh* I want to go to a Wood Elf celebration!
| Musicstarlover chapter 17 . 7/20/2003
This is a really great series that you've got going on here, I'm glad that you finished the issue with Alede, I know that you've finished this series, but, please continue writing, you're one of the best authors I've ever seen!
| Karalicious chapter 18 . 7/13/2003

| PuterPatty chapter 16 . 7/11/2003
IT'S ABOUT TIME!
GO LEGOLAS AND ALEDE!
Beautiful job, Nebride!
| PuterPatty chapter 15 . 7/11/2003
*claps* Just wonderful, Nebride! And a first, which is much welcomed from me! Finally an author who explores the subject of whether elven females are cursed with an Aunt Flo. I like your take on it.
I find myself unable to appropriately comment on the rest of it as you would find many expletives in the review as a sign of my vain attempt to do this fantastic chapter justice.
Gosh, I just fell in love with Legolas even more, and I didn't think that possible.
| Firnsarnien chapter 18 . 7/8/2003
Ah! *VERY satisfied sigh that was* Wonderful story! I so love the way you make each story work itself out in the end, and happily I might add. I really hate it when authors kill a character off! That is just to mean. But you always manage to leave me grinning like an idiot! Thanks! Good luck on all you endeavors and I look forward to your future stories. I would appreciate it very much if you would e-mail me when you start on your new one. My addy is Thanks so much for this wonderful story! I have enjoyed every moment of reading you have given me! :)
| Celtic One chapter 18 . 7/8/2003
Cute epilogue! Wonderful story!
