I read this in 2017 and I loved it! After lots of searching, I finally found ur story and started to reread it.

I realize saying Bearer of The Sky was a bad example, its just the most recent I could think of, it’s still elements of of the nature (of nature vs nuture) Percy so not quite what I was getting at

Honestly this is a good story, but I don’t think it’s a good Percy Jackson story.

I see a lot of these where it’s either a SI/OC into the PJO universe and they just call the SI/OC Percy. Then there are others that basically just keep the names of the characters in an entirely different story like this one.

This is totally separate from the quality of the work, Bearer of the Sky is of my favorite current fics and falls into the first category and How to Handle Fame is another favorite that falls into the second but it’s always weird to go look at a fandom’s page and get hit with something that isn’t really in the scope of the fandom but implicitly advertises as such.

Love the story can't wait for more. I have to ask though. I've seen it say it's updated twice now but no new chapters. Are you updating previous chapters or am I just crazy? Regardless can't wait to see where the story goes.

i like how you parallel leo and annabeth, i feel like their characters are similar in that way in canon too. i love seeing people explore their dynamic.
