wrex uplifting mankind? sounds too good to be true, awesome work

With Wrex uplifting humans, I'm wondering what he'll do about AI. Let's be honest, humans wouldn't listen to some random alien that crashlanded on our planet telling us to stop attempting to create AI. Yes, we'd probably listen to what he says about the Quarians, but without the backing of influencial and advanced species to support what he says, humans would likely just be much more cautious about it but would probably still attempt to create AI, if only to show that we could (how many advancements in the past were in the spirit of: to show we could?) and likely in secret. I find it hard to believe humanity at the very least would have truly ceased all AI research in the canon timeline simply because the Citadel Council said so.
Always bothered me just how... unadvanced humans were in First Contact compared to how we are currently. It seemed like certain things that should have been made or researched (and currently ARE) simply disappeared as it would have made humans seem competent in First Contact, something that obviously isn't allowed. Even with the discovery of the Prothean Ruins on Mars, we wouldn't have suddenly given up on everything else just to follow in the tracks of a long dead race.
Sorry, that turned into a rant. There are just SO many things that bother me about Mass Effect's Humanity that my comments on ME fics usually turn into rants.

So, the T'Soni family gets Shadow Broker access early? I can sort of see where Wrex might get such a nickname, but he'd probably prefer that people let him live it down eventually. Pretty sure other Krogan might get a laugh out of it though.
