Normally I don't read every single word of a fanfic because most of the time I can skip through it with out missing anything important. With this chapter I read every word and I don't know if it's good editing but it felt nice, like every word had a purpose. I really enjoyed that and look forward to reading what happens next to Draco and Hermione in the following chapters.

Every year or two, I would come into and type “sea” into the search box to look for your piece ‘We Learned the Sea’ and reread it. I have been doing this for close to a decade. And every time I finish the story I would click on you username to check if you have uploaded a new story. And the excitement I had when I saw ‘The Thing with Feathers’ uploaded 2017 was akin to anticipating fireworks to say the least!

This story is yet another brilliant one from you. Your ideas on ideas used a thousand times before are nothing like what I have ever read. And your character development is done so eloquently I feel like I am reading a novel and not a short story. You have such a knack for writing. I solemnly swear if you ever write a book I will purchase it without having to look at the cover or read the synopsis. And I pray you will let the community know if you do.
