It's probably ill-fitting but something about her dark desire to do anything to make Draco happy makes me weirdly think of the mother from Tangled. The first chapter here had me picturing the "Mother Knows Best" scene, haha! |

| Ani Mei chapter 2 . 7/6/2017 This is amazing and Narcissa is so clever and cunning! I realize she's the same, but this chapter, she seems more Slytherin and less trigger happy or dark as in the previous chapter. I love that this is the series but with Narcissa playing the mastermind. |

This, The Daring Win, The Art of Self-Fashioning, and Other People's Choices, among several others I've read which are complete, have all been great reads. You've got a knack for writing from perspectives most writers here would be more inclined to ignore - or, worse, simply bash - and drawing us to the characters in ways I wouldn't have expected to be drawn. The way Narcissa deals with the diary is masterful. And it's really sweet that now Harry is one of her boys, so she would protect him too. |
