This is such a wonderful start and I'm so excited to hear your take on pre-calamity botw! Since playing the game myself my love for the Zelda series rose again, and I ended up stumbling upon you and your stories. By now I must've read at least 70% of them I'm sure. I got pretty hooked on your work, your characterization and occasional humour is so fun to read! When I saw you finally post this I knew I had to finally make an account to give my thanks for writing such nice stories, and I await with bated breath for the rest of this one!

You are such a talented storyteller (and obviously also an amazing friend). Your attention to detail is, as always, a delight, and your characters always feel so real.

Give yourself a high five, you magnificent warrior of the pen. You're about to make a lotttt of people very happy.

So, when I first joined the community, your name was definitely one I came to recognize on people's favorite authors/stories lists. While this is a very silly excuse, I never delved into one of your stories because I was intimidated by the length of them. Thus, I was pretty excited to notice you'd written something that was only just starting. This is a train I can jump on!

I love Breath of the Wild so much, and it's obvious that you're familiar with the world just with the little details you add (Tarrey Town!). This really excites me for what's to come; the world is already so rich and I can't wait to see where you go with that.

I love the interaction between Impa and Zelda; it felt very believable for both of their characters. And I can't wait to see where you take Link and Zelda's characters. Though we've only seen a snippet, I like how you've written them in this chapter.

Also, that is honestly a very wise strategy: writing a significant amount before you publish. I could take some notes from you in that department.

Anticipating what's to come!

Zelda games have always done a good job (or a bad one, depending on what you want from a game) of giving the player just a taste of what's to come, and letting them write the rest of the story. In BoTW's case, it gave just a taste of what came AND what is to come. There is so much more to Link and Zelda than what we saw, so I'm really excited to get your take on the memories and presumably the next stage as well.

It's only one chapter and it's already SO GOOD. good LORD how are you so talented? I can't wait to see how this develops! Also congratulations on getting married!

YES. After reading your last two stories, I was so excited to see that you had started one for BotW! I'm not sure there can be too many stories that fill in the gaps, but certainly not if it's written by you. Great start, can't wait to see where you take this! :)
