A score out of 10? Impossible, you broke the scale. This was lovely. I had a list of things I was curious if you'd bring up again and the silent princess in the study was the last thing I had. Thank you so much to both you and Lyxie for baring your souls and letting the emotion shine through. You humanized this story and these characters in a way I haven't seen a lot of "real" authors do. OoT was also my first game and I felt similarly to you about BOTW, and OLY really solidified the experience. I really loved following this story for the past several months, and congratulations. This is quite an accomplishment and I hope you are as proud as we all are of what you've some point I'll need to go back and review all the chapters I didn't, but for now I am content to sort through all of these emotions.

For those reading who also post stories, this should be your gold standard for a story regardless of theme and genre. A model of sorts.

Perfection in typed form. I'm reviewing now instead of next chapter because this is one of the few times I'm reading this on my computer instead of my phone and it's so much easier to review stories with an actual keyboard. But that's beside the point. The point is, this story is amazing. I have to admit, I wasn't all that into this fic compared to your other amazing zelink fics, but you drew me in, you genius! Link and Zelda's relationship had depth and growth in this, far more than in the original. I loved the game's story, but your Link seems so human and relatable! He wasn't perfect, he had moments here he disliked Zelda as well, but he moved past that. And Zelda! She didn't come off as unreasonable with her dislike of Link in this fic! When her reasoning for disliking Link in the game came out, I understood but couldn't relate. The way you wrote it, I could practically put myself in her shoes! Truly, this was as well written as anyone could have hoped! Every time I read one of your stories, I always wish that Nintendo would learn a a thing or two about storytelling and romance from you. I love reading your works so much! I look forward to the final chapter and whatever else you plan on writing in the future!

It's amazing how much your writing has improved. Downfall was devastating with Calamity Ganon (Just sooooo much revelations in there) but everything in between held as much significance and sentiment. The pacing is definitely unconventional, but I felt as though it enhanced the story (both past and present) rather than take away from it. One Last Year is much more than a fanfiction - it's a masterful work of writing.

So, I have just about read every single one of your stories ( I have silently been here since the beginning ) and I absolutely love them. I knew I wanted to make my first comment ever now just to tell you how much I appreciate you. I always check back on your account to see if you’ve written anything new and I’ve never been like that. I am not the type of person who usually reads works in progress but you completely changed me over. I just had to read this story and the waits have been agonizing but completely worth it. I’m so glad I found you as a writer and someone to follow with their stories. You portray these characters amazingly and it really makes the readers feel their emotions. There's always a hero, a princess and a demon. Even if she gave up her title now, that doesn't mean her descendants would ever be opposed to rebuilding the monarchy in the future. It would be interesting to see how the story goes from there tbh, though I doubt Nintendo would pursue that path. It's too realistic and littered with much politicking, I suppose? I'd be game for a Zelda where Zelda ain't the princess and Link can have all the grandeur and nobility. Switch their roles up a bit y'know? Heck, make it Asoiaf-style and have all of them fight for the crown. Still, it makes you wonder where they'd take the timeline post-Botw. Though, I'm 98.7% sure they'd still stick with the Hero, Princess, DemonPig/King formula.
