Not gonna lie, I find this entire fight pathetic. In Canon, Shalltear nearly wiped the entire Black Scripture by herself and yet here are Aura, Albedo, Shalltear, and MOD Harry having to actually 'fight' them to a standstill despite massively out-leveling them? Not only that, but ALL of them have OP World Items and this is as good as they could do?

I honestly expected Harry to go into the other dimension and find the entire Black Scripture wiped out already and the guardians kneeling and awaiting his next order. Not ONLY were they actually being held back by 3 people of significantly lower level each (Which was basically impossible even by Yggdrasil standards) but then Harry came in and fucked up the whole thing.

Even just buffing his allies or simply waiting until the fight was over would have been better than whatever stupidity this is. Don't get me wrong, I like the story so far...mostly but you are relying too much on the 'Potter Luck' as a plot device IMO. He is the Master of Death, completely immortal, level 100 just like Momonga and the Guardians, and has a ton of experience that SHOULD be helping him but he seems even weaker and less efficient than Momonga, a regular salaryman who became his game avatar.

The fact that he even got hit by Shalltear's lance at point blank seems questionable at best (considering the length of the weapon) but for that one attack to essentially incapacitate him to the point where he couldn't even walk on his own? (taken from the beginning of the next chapter) That is absolutely absurd. Momonga took multiple hits from Shalltear's lance, skills, and spells AND casted Fallen Down (a Super Tier spell particularly effective against Undead and much stronger than any 10th tier spell) on himself without any problems, despite being hit with his Racial Weakness. Momonga was still able to hold a meeting afterwards and function just fine.

Meanwhile Harry, Master of Death, level 100 Djinn (Heteromorph that should have comparable immunities/stats to any other Heteromorphic race), and supreme magic caster who should be stronger than Momonga (considering his magical knowledge, experience, and skills from his past lives) was completely incapacitated by a single 10th tier spell and 1 attack from Shalltear.

Frankly, I find Harry to be pathetically weak and nerfed from what he SHOULD be. Momonga was ALSO a pure magic caster with absolutely no melee skills and an absurdly low health pool, so don't blame it on him being a 'squishy mage'. Momonga could tank a Super Tier spell that was specifically designed to cause massive damage to Undead like himself AND fight Shalltear to a standstill, even in melee combat with no problems but Harry, who should be stronger and have more experience than him, can't even take a single hit from Shalltear along with a 10th tier spell? That is just pathetic.

I dunno, if Harry is as old as he says he should be way more cautious than he's been acting. He didn't even take a World Item with him after being caught in the first one, even ignoring the fact that he didn't have one on him in the first place. Also, if he knew the world was going to become real, why didn't he try to get more World Items and other Yggdrasil equipment from all the players that would either be throwing it around or selling it for cheap?

this lemme keep my humanity act while having evil subordinates is stupid and makes for a bad story. I watch overlord for the evils that they commit, hell I’m praying Ainz’ loses his humanity eventually

shouldn't the guardians already have time stop protection on their own normal gear that they wear? because if they don't that sounds like it would have been exploited in Yggdrasill when it was still a game.

bruh, if harry tried expelliarmus on sebas, it would be unclear whether it worked or not. since sebas goes to battle in an armless state. unless expelliarmus can disarm people's literal arms... still unclear though...
