| Guest chapter 37 . 11/18
- A Secret never to be told.
If Harry is smart, he'll slap a Fidelis on the fact that he was blood adopted. (Or an improved version*.)
Not that many people know, so it's manageable power wise.
And it's better to be too cautious than too reckless. He has no idea with whom Tommy has shared that knowledge.
Better to nip it in the bud, before it can bite him in the ass.
*: Radaslab's "30 minutes" series had an interesting side effect of the Blood Wards. Until Harry went to Hogwarts he'd be forgotten about.
MOB Albus could stick his head in a pensieve and he'd remember. He takes it out and he forgets again. Thus buying Harry and co time.
So an upgraded Fidelis, that could pull that off, would render any written notes meaningless.
Yes, Harry does not know of Draco's files. Doesn't change the fact he has no idea whom Tommy told about Harry's blood adoption or if said individuals made physical notes.
Like I said, better safe than sorry.
- Monkey business
As for Neville. For some reason, I keep thinking: "Left turn, Clyde!"

I hope when Harry put up his Satalites, he will find his Cousin Kara Zor-El. Would be funny when Sirius Bloodadopts her und presents her as his Child born from a Squib he had once an Afaire with ;)

20 bucks says that the dagger is a horcrux. Hope to see Grindlewald make a reappearance somewhere down the line.
All in all, good chapter and a nice way to close out the story. Looking forward to what you come out with next.

while im def not suggesting anything akin to justice lords, i do think its time for harry and jor el to start getting (more?) proactive.
they knows that there are people out to get them both in the ministry and possibly hogwarts, whether polyjuiced as students/teachers or actual students/teachers, so its logical for the potters to start ramping up passive and active defenses, making contingency plans if another shitstorm occurs, and even ways to strike back at high value targets. maybe, maybe preemptively for the more vile ones. they dont need to be killed, but petrified or transfigured into sloths would work too. yeah its still taking the law into their own hands, but then lawfully the obscurials should have been handed over to the ministry as well.
secret, discreet armor. beozars in a false tooth. super high tech backups. an information network, bugging people's office, or public locations where dodgy deals might happen, or people themselves. especially those who still follow/support the bigot pureblood beliefs. print/televise similarities between pureblood squibdom and animal breeding too close (if that exists in your world) to remove support for those believers. introduce wiz world and real world customs to take away another avenue for the purists. backup wardstones if the first fail/get compromised. safe houses and resource stockpiles.

Heck of an ending here, I look forward to Year 4 as envisioned by you. Also, really glad once more that you didn't let this one go as another plot bunny.

Fantastic story. Can't wait for the sequel.

Awesome, awesome 4 chapters!
You're spoiling us with 4 in one day. :D
Hope for many more chapters soon. :D

Draco's intelligence doesn't exactly translate into wisdom, but he is a biased teen. It is to be expected. Though, to be honest, that little after credit snippet worried me more than Draco's knowledge. That dagger is quite a bit more dangerous than the knowledge that Harry is blood adopted into the Potters. Until next time.
| Quathis chapter 36 . 10/26
Neville is likely very glad he doesn't have to hide his Animagus form anymore. And Harry is likely very glad he is a Lord, not just an Heir. Until next time.
| Quathis chapter 35 . 10/26
Good to see how things turned out in the short term, now they need to recoup and see what else needs to happen. With several parties trying to figure out how Harry and Jor-El do some of their many wonders. Until next time.
| Quathis chapter 34 . 10/26
Quick but brutal, as most hostage situations are. Gotta finish quick to keep people safe. Aberforth's comment about helping the giant monster was great, not sure if he was being sarcastic or just dry. Until next time.

U know, that fits actually...her ideals fit grindlewald more than voldemort.
| JamesTKent chapter 37 . 10/26
Phew! You wrapped that one up in a tornado! If you choose, I am almost loathe to imagine what you might come up with next!
| WhiteElfElder chapter 37 . 10/26
What is up with that Dagger that it has taken so much importance...or is that Dagger a horcrux for Grindlewald? The fact that Draco seems more power crazy than Lucius is scary and troubling since his sites are set on Harry...very much being like Lex.
