Ugh. I know I read and reviewed this before, but it caught my eye again and I couldn't resist. It's really, heartbreakingly fantastic.

Such a different and original story...they lived a full life...and beyond.

Loved this, particularly when I realised it was joining with the last voyager!
| Dee474 chapter 2 . 7/16/2017
Loved it, especially the bit about Voyager disappearing afterwards.
| murphycat chapter 2 . 7/15/2017
Really outstanding. Original and lovely plot.
| mabb5 chapter 2 . 7/15/2017
Imaginative plot. And for a change, a death story that is not depressing or too maudlin. Nicely done. Please write more and soon.
| r'hana Parivhar chapter 1 . 7/15/2017
a beautiful story
| Beawild chapter 1 . 7/15/2017
I know that as humans we will all die at some point, but it is still heartbreaking. I don't see Chakotay living too much longer without the other half of his heart and soul. Sad, but lovely.

And now I'm crying. This is beautiful Caladenia. Just beautiful. I want to be happy for them for having had such a long and obviously full life, but oh, it's so hard! Crud. I wish would let me copy/paste some of these lines I love so much. But first and foremost, the section about the rings on the tree and what it had seen was phenomenal. The way you give us these little, tiny hints at what those decades were like was just fantastic. Beautiful job.
