Reviews for Potter
HanseDavion chapter 7 . 4/20
Enjoyed the storyline very much. I really enjoyed the character's makeup and the way you are developing them. I hope you haven't abandoned the story, because I want to know what happens next.
G Fawkes chapter 6 . 3/10
Acquaintances. Not acquittances. That's not even a word.
-
You already have in another chapter that Dumbledore paid Harry 500 galleons for the troll. Now it's 1000? Take notes.

G Fawkes chapter 5 . 3/10
"Welcome to "the Price is Right!"
Uh, Pat? I'd like to buy a vowell? Can I get an "e"?
Why, yes there have been TWENTY SEVEN (not really counting) of them, one for every time this idiot misspelled WEASLEY!
At $100 per vowell, you are now broke and disqualified from the game.
_
If one WERE to be ... Where and were aren't even close, really. That's not even trying.

ATTENDED HOGWARTS!. NOT ASSISTED !
G Fawkes chapter 4 . 3/9
Nowhere, in the ENTIRE CASTLE, is a ten MINUTE walk away from ANYWHERE else in the castle. Let alone one haall on one floor. Use your damn head!
Seventh floor down to the quidditch pitch, maybe. Front gates, debateable.
Actually... and again maybe, it MIGHT take ten minutes to go from the seventh floor of dorms in Gryffindor (14th floor), down through the common room on the seventh floor of the castle itself, down the main stairs to the fourth floor, and over to the tower for Ravenclaw... Up to THAT seventh floor, say the password, and go up to their seventh floor dorms in that tower (14th floor again). THAT ... might... take ten minutes... Walking, not running.
G Fawkes chapter 4 . 3/9
ATTEND! ATTEND the feast! Not ASSIST! WTF?! You've used assist WRONG, like ten or more times, in barely beginning the fourth chapter.
I hope that you will stick with Pokemon, or something you know better than Harry Potter. You don't seem to care enough to do it well.
G Fawkes chapter 4 . 3/9
Just about ready to walk away from this one.
Potter MANOR- is NOT the tiny little cottage in Godric's Hollow that the Potters hid in under the Fidelius.
A MANOR is more castle than house. Palace maybe. Huge. Roomy. Richly decorated, while hopefully tasteful, not gaudy. Big ass stairways, balconies, guest rooms. Gardens, stables, creatures, gargoyles even.
The Manor, in Canon was unplottable, and Harry never did get to see it. We are to assume it was destroyed, but maybe not, if James parents died of dragon pox.
G Fawkes chapter 2 . 3/9
Whoah. Lots of notes. I won't be reading those. Books do not have author notes.
G Fawkes chapter 2 . 3/9
(To myself) Just breathe. Count to ten. Do not break anything. Do not scream out loud...
(Re Susan speaking) "... cus in founding..."
Do YOU have ANY control of your bodily functions, whereas the motions of your falanges strike the keys, and words, or what is SUPPOSED TO BE words, appear on your screen?!
"CUTS in FUNDING" are the ACTUAL words you seek. Can you NOT (feel? See? Know?) that your typing is abysmal, and it might be a good idea to go back and correct even, say, HALF of the mistakes made, as you go?!
"...cus in founding..." sounds like All Pacino, as Tony Montana in "Scarface" trying to say out loud, what you mean.

Calmer, now.
Maybe I can go back to reading now. I was trying to CALMLY read myself back to sleep, from waking at 5:30 in the morning.
I just wasted an HOUR being pissed off at writing mistakes.
G Fawkes chapter 1 . 3/8
Filed. Not filled.
Read... Not RED. (never, ever, seen THAT one.
Bury.. Burry is not a word.
keep them SAFE. SAVE ain't it
Anger FESTERED. not fostered
TRUST vault! Wtf would a thrust vault be?!

Apparently, proofreading isn't your thing?
Ultach chapter 4 . 1/29
Okay. I've hit my limit for tolerating your persistent misuse of ASSIST every time the context requires ATTEND.
Since you do seem to be dyslexic, despite also consistently using the wrong prepositions with verbs, (appear In his hand for example), I assume you are not a native English speaker. As such, I do recommend you invest in a good quality English/your language dictionary. I am well aware that grammar and associated prepositions vary between languages which makes computer translating unreliable for more than individual words or short phrases, so alternatively you may need to cultivate a 'beta' or editor who is fluent in English.
In general, a decent effort, but do stay away from my muffins! Grrr!
Ciao.
BorisCresnov chapter 7 . 1/12

bruins35 chapter 1 . 12/6/2024
Trust not Thrust, but that made me chuckle
dodkirua chapter 7 . 10/31/2024
Good story
Thank you
Mac55 chapter 1 . 10/29/2024
to be honest. You writing thrust, instead of trust so many times... has me pulling out my hair.
adelgado04291 chapter 7 . 10/2/2024
I started the story knowing it was not complete. Still worth the read. Thank you for sharing it was very interesting. I saw that it's been quite a while, a few years, since the last update I still think this was a absolutely wonderful beginning.
