Great story. Interesting plot that not only makes you want more but also gives some insight as to the cause (s) of the Joker's depravity.

Wow...just wow. When I first started reading this, I almost had to stop because I wanted to throw up. Then I compelled myself to keep going, out of sheer curiousness. And all I have to say is this. You magnificent b******. This is fricking brilliant!

One of the best stories I've ever read. You did a wonderful job despite some of the grammar mistakes. You should be a writer for a living.

I love this! I have always believed that a baby would be a healing gift from God if I was ever raped, and to find a story like this is astonishing. And the emotions and feelings ring true, as far as I can tell without being in the same situation. Truly a unique story!

This was a magnificient piece of work. I absolutly loved it. I enjoyed the characters, plotline and the involvement from start to finish...I thought I would be horrified by Barbara's death, but surprisingly, it befitted this story.

Nothing short then mezmerizing.

You're lucky this was Elseworlds, so I can't go off on you for making every single bloody character completely OOC.

That said, this is easily one of the most boring, narrowminded, idotic and poorly plotted stories I have read on this site or any other. It reads like a DC comic if it were taken over by mildly retarded woman-hating Jesus freaks who somehow learned to type and spell.

Seriously, everyone is entitled to their opinions on such things as abortion, homosexuality and the like, but yours are, for lack of a better word, medieval. Women do not go lesbian because their husbands die. People are either born that way or they're not. Your neat little escape hatch of Barbara saying "I believe in a woman's right to chose, but I don't believe in abortion" is the worst kind of wishy-washy attempt to justify your right-wing views.

You mention Freud once in one of the countless chapters...he would have a field day with this story and with the likes of you, "Darth Yoshi". Your obession with the Joker's penis has me wondering if perhaps all your homophobic ranting doesn't have a personal side to it.

Lastly, your characterizations were terrible, even for an Elseworlds fic. The Joker is not a rapist, plain and simple. He's a manipulator, a murderer, and many other things, but he doesn't need to rape women. Harley proves this. The Joker is a seducer...he loves the game, the chase, the seduction much more than the actual act. Maybe if you'd actually read "The Killing Joke" you'd understand that.

There's way too much here for me to go into all the details, but suffice to say you need serious lessons on plotting, character development and plot pacing before writing again. In fact, stop while you're ahead, and don't write again. Ever.

I finally caught up with this story again - and it was fantastic. Dark, angsty, emotionally complex - it's been a pleasure to read your work, and it seems with every story you just get better. Wonderful, beautiful job.

F'in fantastic. I have loved this story from start to finish. That's saying a lot from me, because I'm not the biggest Joker fan in the world.

The story was excellently conceived and told. It wasn't filled with sex and violence that wasn't integral to the story. That is what makes it a really great read!

Wow, this was an amazing story. I'm glad the ending wasn't nearly the downer that the previous chapters were. I was surprised you brought Batman Beyond continuity into this, great tie-in. But one question, did Bruce and Selina ever have that child they wanted? Don't leave us in suspense like this. Or maybe you will...

*Sigh* Alas, I guess I'm just like the Joker. I'm numb. I guess it got a little too horrific for me. But I will say that this story is what comic books dream of achieving. Very, incredibly dark. Wow.

Really dark but in a good way.
