Honestly Reapers are simply try hard wannabe Lovecraftian Horrors. Probably my biggest gripe about Mass Effect(particularly fanon) is the lack of human culture or history that influences their tech. I can understand why it doesn't happen in the game series, as copyright infringement is a bitch, but I don't understand why fanon writers don't explore a proven trend among our scientists and our scifi fantasies.

With access to Eezo and ME tech, both power armour and Gundum-style mechs would be possible. The same goes for particle beam weaponry(which is actually not that different from standard ME railgun tech) and gene-mods. You can't tell me that humanity didn't start adding inhuman features to their bodies to look like Faunus or Furries, and that's without taking into account beastkin like from Killing Bites or any number of combat mods that would be available. Also you can't tell me someone didn't make Queen Padme's starship using Eezo tech as much as possible.

So, is there a romance for harry in here? Is it Tali?
