well whatever works!
This is how I explain this fic in the guise of certain characters
"Oh my, there was a fic?"
"It was good...(pervey fic touches her breasts) but it has no redeeming qualties."
"As usual it looks wierd but tastes really good."(reference to Naru's cooking)
"uhh, I uhh I li..liked it...(quadruple blush)"
"Hm, serves no purpose other to entertain which is does well."

I like it! cant wait for next.
| anonymous chapter 2 . 3/18/2003
Although it's totally unrelated to plot etc, it's really great. I don't think it should be a pairing at all, my favorite ending the one where he doesn't choose anyway. I'm not suggesting an orgy or anything, but the second chapter was really neat and i wanna see more! keep it up
| GodOfTheWired chapter 2 . 3/18/2003
Wait a minute.. I am so confused. Exactly what pairing is this series supposed to be? It's like an enigma wrapped in a puzzle, locked in a Rubix Cube. One minute it's Naru, then it seems like Motoko... oh my head. ;_;
And what's with the blocking anonymous reviews? You really should allow them.. oh well. Your choice. _
On the plus side, the story did have Kitsune topless. A moment of clarity amidst a typhoon of possibilities.

| M. L. Zhang chapter 1 . 3/12/2003

Thanks for the lesson in Japanese.
Too bad it turned me off totally to your fic.
Why some authors (you, in this case) try and show off what-however much or little-Japanese you know in a fic that is almost ENTIRELY written in English throughout is well beyond me.
I mean, 's sit here and think for a moment.
Original anime scripts are written and spoken in Japanese. When you write the fic in ENGLISH, it is more or less understood that the characters are ACTUALLY speaking in Japanese. Thus when you slaughter a dialogue by doing a more or less chop-job of throwing in random spouts of Japanese then it's sort of like a double-negative-meaning in a sense, the Japanese phrases you've thrown in are being spoken in English.
If you want to impress people with your Japanese, write the entire fic in Japanese and post it on a Japanese fanfiction site. Meanwhile, I like to read my fics in English WITHOUT need of some reference guide to understand what in the nine-hells you're implying. Not to mention it's highly unprofessional-looking and really just annoying.
But then, maybe I'm alone on this. Somehow I doubt it, though.
My suggestion is to pick a language to write in and stick to it. You'd probably get a lot more readers that'd be willing to give you a lot more input on what you've written. Take it down, translate your own written dialogue entirely into English (or Japanese if that's your preference) and repost.
